Does anyone here have experience using a turntable setup with djay? I’m wondering if it’s possible to use timecode vinyl from Serato DVS, Traktor Scratch, Rekordbox DVS, or any other DVS system with it.
Hey guys! So, I’ve been trying to get into turntable DJing for the first time, using a mixer and two turntables.
I’ve been playing on a DJ controller (FLX4), so I’m already familiar with things like beatmatching, EQ swapping, fader cuts, scratching, etc. Now I’m interested in learning how to DJ with turntables.
I have a few questions, especially about DVS vinyl. Can DVS vinyl from different systems, such as Traktor Scratch or Rekordbox DVS, be used with other DJ software?
For example, does Traktor Scratch vinyl only work with Traktor Pro, or can it also be used with Serato DJ? And vice versa?
