new addition to my asatru altar! hail freyja 🌸

just wanted to share this gorgeous freyja statue i added to my space recently. (it's a veronese design piece for anyone curious, the details in person are so nice). hail freyja! goddess of love, beauty, fertility, magic, and wealth. her energy feels so powerful yet comforting to have around. anyone else here work with freyja? what kind of offerings or practices do you usually do for her?

new addition to my kemetic altar! dua bastet 🐾

just wanted to share this new bastet statue i added to my altar space recently! dua bastet! goddess of the home, cats, music, dance, and protection. beyond her traditional aspects, i’ve always felt super connected to her energy when it comes to self-acceptance, bodily autonomy, and loving freely. feels so grounding having her present on my altar now. anyone else here work with bastet? how do you honor her in your practice?

The "God created sex, man corrupted it" logic is just religious cope to justify purity culture

Saw this image circulating on social media claiming "God created sex, man created porn." It’s the same tired narrative puritans have been pushing for centuries: taking credit for natural human drives while blaming human autonomy for anything that doesn't fit their narrow dogma. Their theology doesn't even hold up to its own logic. According to their own doctrine, their god didn't just "create sex" — he locked it behind rigid rules of heterosexual marriage, forced procreation, and crippling shame. Everything that actually liberated human sexuality — contraception, safe abortions, bodily autonomy, sex education, and accepting queer people — came from human reason fighting against religious control. Saw someone in the comments sum it up perfectly: "God created disease, man created the cure." Religious dogma constantly tries to brand human freedom as "corruption" just so they can sell you the cure to a guilt they invented in the first place.

Which JD1–JD3 classics sitting in the vault do you want on JD+ the most?

Hey everyone, I was looking back at all the songs from the first three games that got remade or upscaled for Just Dance Unlimited and JD Now over the years, but for some reason were never actually released or added to the playable lineup on JD+. It’s honestly wild how many iconic maps are just sitting in limbo when the current JD+ catalog could really use them. Here’s a quick list of the classic tracks from JD1, JD2, and JD3 that still haven't made it over legally:
Just Dance 1: A Little Less Conversation, Bebe, Dare, Funplex (CSS Remix), Girls & Boys, I Like to Move It, Jerk It Out, Jin Go Lo Ba, Kids in America, Pump Up the Jam, Ring My Bell, Surfin' Bird, and Wannabe (yeah I know we got the new version with 5 coaches in Decades of Hits, but the original JD1 map was literally sitting in the files for a season before getting scrapped lol).
Just Dance 2: A-Punk, American Boy, Body Movin' (Fatboy Slim Remix), Call Me, Crazy in Love, I Got You (I Feel Good), Iko Iko, Jump in the Line, Maniac, Moving on Up, Pon de Replay, Satisfaction (Isak Original Extended), Should I Stay or Should I Go, Song 2, S.O.S, Spice Up Your Life, Sympathy For The Devil (Fatboy Slim Remix), The Shoop Shoop Song, The Power, Viva Las Vegas.
Just Dance 3: Are You Gonna Go My Way, Beautiful Liar, Da Funk, Gonna Make You Sweat, Hey Boy Hey Girl, I'm So Excited, Let's Go To The Mall, Marcia Baila, Night Boat To Cairo, Only Girl (In The World), Price Tag, Think, Tightrope, Video Killed the Radio Star, What You Waiting For?
I know music licensing is a complete nightmare for Ubisoft with older tracks, but man... I'd love to have Pump Up the Jam, Song 2, and Da Funk back in HD on JD+. Which ones from these early games are you guys missing the most or hoping Ubisoft manages to clear for JD+ eventually?

How did you know I have religious trauma? (And a question about Scrupulosity OCD)

"How did you know I have religious trauma? I never told you."

Why do you apologize for things that aren't your fault? Because you need people to say "It's okay, I forgive you" just to feel like you have permission to exist.

Because you think about your death way too often.

Because you view basic, natural human things—like food, rest, or sexuality—as inherently dirty or wrong.

And because you're terrified of being on bad terms with people, scared that you or they might suddenly die while you're distant.

Written out like that, it feels pretty obvious. But as a neurodivergent person, it raises another question for me: How do you actually tell where religious trauma ends and Scrupulosity OCD begins? If you're ND and have dealt with this overlap, how did you figure out what was trauma conditioning versus an actual OCD cycle?

paganism & neurodivergence — anyone else feel like this path just clicks so much better?

hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick thought and see if anyone else relates. growing up around mainstream dogmatic religion (christianity for me) always made me feel guilty for just existing, especially with my sexuality and feeling "different" as a neurodivergent person. stepping into paganism was a huge breath of fresh air. learning that the ancient gods aren't portrayed as perfect or flawless—many have disabilities, physical flaws, or very complex personalities—helped me reconcile so much personal stuff. i came across these infographics recently talking about how autistic and ND folks are often drawn to paganism and alternative paths. things like having deep study hyperfixations, finding comfort in ritual routines, sensory connection with nature, and not fitting into standard societal molds really line up. just curious how many of you here are ND and if finding paganism helped you unpack old religious guilt too?

New Hel statue for my altar setup! Loving the dual design

just got this Hel statue in today and im really happy with how it looks. the split living/corpse design on her fits her myth so well. i know the scythe is more of a modern artistic choice rather than historical Norse lore, but honestly the detail on it in person is crazy good. Hail Hel, ruler of Helheim!
