Can anyone help identify this sound?

Been on and off in my flat for days - varying intensity and can be heard throughout the flat. This was taken with all my flat electricity off

How to block out ultrasonic animal scarers?

EDIT - Please can I have advice other than going to turn it off or take out the batteries. I can’t easily access the area.

Hi - a neighbour’s ultrasonic animal scarer has been going off nearly constantly the last few days. It’s becoming insufferable. Does anyone have any tips for blocking out the noise? Shutting windows or using earplugs isn’t working.

For note, I’ve not been able to pinpoint exactly where it is, but at the house I believe it is coming from it appears they’re not home or away whenever I’ve gone over.

Noisy animal scarer

Hi all - in recent months I’ve noticed intermittent ultrasonic animal scarer sounds coming from a neighbouring house. This summer it’s gotten really bad and near constant at times - it’s unbearable!

I’m sure they can hear it as well - but I’m not sure what to do as I can’t figure out exactly where it’s coming from.

Does anyone have any tips? I’d thought about writing letters to all nearby houses or posting in the community Facebook group, but don’t want to make the situation worse.

Thanks
