Every year there’s the same fuss about maximum working temps, and once the heat wave ends it’s forgotten.

Closing a restaurant for during a heatwave is in reality not an option as margins are razor thin and most operate at a slight loss for periods of time and rely on Christmas, Mother’s Day etc to prop them up.

Realistically the only way to keep the places open and safe for staff is with air conditioning. How would a guy go about starting a petition/lobbying for something like this?

It’s only going to get worse and I’m not being paid enough to die.

Any recommendations before I spend my money?
