You guys I’m so pissed. A small business hired me in the beginning of May to do their marketing and social media and normally I would never entertain the idea of working for a small business because of the unprofessionalism but that’s beside the point, I was desperate for a job so I said yes. I find out while I’m being trained by someone that had put in her two weeks, the owner is continuing interviewing people for the position I had been training for a couple weeks by now. So now, the girl that had put in her two weeks can’t even leave because I have officially been replaced by someone new and she is training her now. I had became fast friends with her so I texted her how upset I was and she told me that it was because the owner thought I was not presentable and how he kept me anyway for a couple weeks because a mutual friend of ours was my reference and he didn’t wanna disappoint them. Heartbroken. He lied to me and said he talked with his family and they collectively decided to not pursue social media at all.

This job was described as “we’re like a family” first red flag there. This job was actually very low maintenance and the owner is nice and chill BUT zero organization and has no idea what he wants. Then I get indirectly blamed for not meeting his expectations that he himself could not verbalize because he doesn’t know what he wants. Here’s the situation: this small business hires me to do their marketing and social media, he tells me that he has seen tons of small businesses get traction and attention from viral videos but the thing is, he wants the elevated classy look to remain and I tell him I don’t know if that’s possible because NOBODY cares about a random fine jewelry ring they come across on instagram-like those videos don’t go viral, I tell him we need to film humorous videos but he detests the idea. Two weeks pass and he calls to tell me he changed his mind about social media and doesnt want to go through with it and politely lets me go. Tells me he cant afford to hire somebody full time, mind you, one bracelet is three thousand. Engagement rings starting at 10k. What do you mean you can’t afford it?? So done with the unprofessionalism with small businesses.

Hello everybody. I live with family and I hate it but that’s beside the point, there are four males and two of them absolutely refuse to shower. They all have been diagnosed with adhd at one point and I have it myself but the other two males don’t have this behavior so I was wondering if it is correlates or not. Those two males have zero hygiene and it affects the family and we all complain about their foul stench and they promise they will shower that night but just won’t. It has been two months and they have not taken a shower or changed their bedsheets their rooms smell like absolute shit. I didn’t even tell the worst part, they heavily cologne themselves to mask the smell and it stays in the house for hours and hours and it extenuates their body odor. The rest of us begs for them to brush their teeth and shower and they refuse. We don’t know what to do about it and I can escape the stench by being in my room but I can’t go to the rest of the house without gagging. They both have customer facing jobs too.
