Environmental science Bsc vs environmental geoscience Bsc?

Hey everyone :) I’m doing a foundation year at uni and will go on to do either environmental science or environmental geoscience next year. I’m having a hard time deciding which would be a better fit for me; I’m very interested in studying tectonics, geomorphology and volcanology but I’m also very interested in ecology, conservation and biology. I don’t have a very specific career path in mind yet as I’m just beginning at university and wanted to see what begins to take my interest more over these few years first. Any advice would be appreciated!

Looking for help with getting diagnosed in the UK

Hey erry1! I am a 26 y/o woman in the UK who struggles with hypermobility and POTS symptoms but I have not been able to get a diagnosis for the POTS yet. When I spoke to my doctor about it previously they just tested my blood pressure but from what I’ve read they would need to do a more in-depth test than this to identify the POTS?

My symptoms are becoming unmanageable when I am at work (I work in retail on my feet) especially during the recent heatwaves we have had here as heat seems to be a massive trigger.

Any advice on how to navigate getting diagnosed through the NHS in the UK, or stories of others who have been through the process, would help so much right now!! 🖤 I feel like I have been going to the doctors about dizzy symptoms my whole life and never had a real answer about what is going on but it’s becoming so hard to get through each day in the heat and doing a job where I have to stand that I’m feeling hopeless, and I’m desperate for some real help and answers.

Question about environmental science (with foundation)

Hi everyone! I have applied for environmental science both full-time with foundation and part-time without a foundation and I was lucky to get offers for both! I would prefer to do the foundation degree as I've been out of education for a number of years, but I applied for the part-time degree as well in case I didn't have time to balance a full-time degree with my job. Does anyone have experience doing envirosci foundation full-time (or without foundation), and if so what was your timetable like? I can see on their website that it is 1-3 evenings a week but I'm not sure what this would look like on a weekly basis. Thank you for any help and advice!

(For context I currently do shift work and work generally 3 days a week, sometimes mornings and sometimes evenings but would probably reduce my hours to study).
