Hi everyone,
I’m having some trouble configuring smart notifications on my Dahua setup.
My Setup:
NVR: Dahua NVR4116-4KS2
Camera: Dahua Dome IP Camera IPC-HDBW1230E-S

The Problem:
I want to receive push notifications only for Human Detection (IVS / SMD) in my backyard, and not for general motion (which triggers too many false alarms from wind/shadows).
However, when I try to enable Human/SMD notifications directly from the DMSS app, it throws an error. The only thing the app allows me to successfully turn on and receive are standard Motion Detection notifications.
What I've tried:
Standard motion detection works, but it's too spammy.
Trying to toggle Human/Vehicle detection in the app results in an error message.
Do I need to configure the IVS rules / Smart Motion Detection (SMD) directly inside the NVR's web interface (via browser) or via ConfigTool first before the app will allow it? Any step-by-step guidance on how to fix this error and get only human alerts would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Dahua NVR, model NVR4116-4KS2, with the latest update dating back to 2018. I checked for available updates on the Dahua Wiki and the official Dahua website, but found nothing. Eventually, I asked Gemini and somehow ended up on a Polish site featuring various firmware versions; the latest was from 2024, featuring the Version 4 interface. While identifying the correct firmware for the NVR was relatively simple thanks to the product label, I’m stuck on the cameras. How can I find the updates for them? Their firmware is also stuck on a 2018 version. I also tried using ConfigTool, but I couldn't trace the specific model numbers. The same happened when accessing the web interface via IP—the model info simply isn't showing up.

Hello, does anyone know how to fix the issue with the incorrect time when I tap a motion detection notification in the DMSS app? Specifically, if motion is detected at 12:00, the notification shows the correct time, but when I tap it to view the recording, the time shown is 11:00 instead. Thx
