Recently i came back to romance anime because i wanted to watch BGS S2, Couple of Cuckoos S2 and The Angel Next Door S2. So before starting season 2 of Angel Next Door i decided to rewatch season 1 so i could remember everything and honestly i forgot how good this anime actually was.

Back in 2023-2024 i used to binge romance anime like crazy. I first watched Toradora when i was like 9yo back in 2018, then later watched stuff like Horimiya, BGS, Angel Next Door and probably over 100 romance animes at this point lmao in 2023- mid 2024.

But after rewatching Angel Next Door i got completely hooked again. I watched 6 episodes in one go, slept, then woke up and finished the rest straight away, the progression between the characters just feels so perfect and natural.

Coming back to anime after taking a break genuinely reminded me why i loved romance anime so much in the first place and brings me back icl. It will never be the same but the nostalgia is hitting TT.

Has anyone else rewatched an anime after a long break and ended up liking it way more than the first time? And what romance anime would you recommend after Angel Next Door, keep in mind it kinda would have to be a really nieche pick seeming as ive watched almost any one you can name lmao.

So back in mid 2023-early 2024 i used to binge so much romance anime like toradora when i was 9 years old in 2019, then in 2023-2024 the angel next door, bgs, horimiya and just about any you can name 100+, anyways i came back from the brake because i wanted to watch bgs s2, cuple of cuckoos s2 and the angel next door s2. anyways i went to rewatch the s1 first of the angel next door so i would remember and holy i think im addicted again. i watched 6 episodes in a row, went to sleep then when i woke up finished the first season and starting s2 right now, back then i just didnt realise how good the anime actually was. the way the progression progresses is just perfect. and urghhh the people who made this really deserve a medal!! i just wanted to talk about my experience coming back to anime and it really brang me back to when i was much younger. this anime is deffo in my top 3 picks and thanks alot for reading my story about this wonderfull anime!
