Struggling with sens (60cm vs 47cm). Feeling "stuck" between muscle groups

Hey everyone, I’m dealing with a very specific aiming issue in CS2 and I'm hoping some of you have gone through something similar and can help me out.

Lately, I’ve been bouncing between two sensitivities and I just can't seem to settle:

  • 0.88 @ 800 DPI (~60cm/360): Honestly, the overall feeling on this sens is great. I feel way more confident and I consistently get more frags. But there’s one tragic flaw: my HS% is absolutely terrible (around 30% average per match).
  • 1.1 @ 800 DPI (~47cm/360): Here is where it gets weird. My HS% immediately goes up, but paradoxically... I get fewer kills overall.

The Core Problem: When I play on 1.1 (47cm), I get this incredibly awkward feeling like I’m stuck between two muscle groups. I completely lose my sense of when I should be using my full arm and when I should switch to my wrist.

On the lower sens (60cm), the distinction is just obvious. I still use my wrist for micro-corrections, but I instinctively know I can't use my wrist to run around or clear angles, so my arm naturally takes over for broader movements. But on 47cm, my brain short-circuits and doesn't know which muscle group to engage for which distance.

I know that ~45-47cm/360 is a sweet spot for a ton of great players and pros, so this is definitely a "me" problem (lack of adaptation/mechanics).

What I need your advice on:

  1. How do I get over this "muscle confusion"?
  2. KovaaK's Recommendations: Are there any specific KovaaK's scenarios, full playlists, or routines that specifically isolate this problem? I really need something that trains the seamless transition between wide arm sweeps and precise wrist micro-corrections.

Any tips or routine recommendations would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

EDIT: Some extra context about my aim trainer stats (Viscose S2 benchmarks) Just to give you guys a better picture of my mechanics and where my weaknesses might be, here is a quick rundown of my current ranks:

  • Overall, I hit Seal on the easier benchmarks and I'm currently Vermillion on Medium.
  • In Flick Tech: Micro and Post-Flick, I managed to hit Viridian.
  • The rest of my Flick Tech and Click Timing categories are sitting at Celadon (with the exception of Click Timing: Reading).

(PS: English isn't my first language, so I used AI to help me write and structure this post to make sure my problem is explained clearly)

Struggling with sens choice: Oblivity gave me 58cm/360 for CS2, but I just smashed my KovaaKs PB on 30cm

My main priority is strictly CS2 performance.

A while ago, I used Oblivity to find my "optimal" sensitivity, and it recommended 58cm/360 (which feels super slow to me). I’ve been playing CS on it, but my performance is very inconsistent—one game I feel amazing, and the next I feel completely off.

For context, back in CS:GO I used to play around 47cm/360 for years before taking a break for a few years.

Here is the twist: In KovaaKs, I was grinding scenarios like 1w6t on the 58cm sens and hit a wall. Out of frustration, I bumped my sensitivity up to 30cm/360. After just 30 minutes, I completely smashed my personal best with surprisingly high accuracy.

Now I’m totally confused on what to do:

  1. Should I try playing CS on a faster sens like 30cm/360, or is that way too fast for tactical shooters long-term?
  2. Should I go back to something closer to my old CS:GO sens (~45–50cm/360) as a middle ground?
  3. Is Oblivity actually reliable for TacFPS, or did it just push me into an excessively slow sens?

Would love to hear your thoughts

Looking for an ultra-comfortable and budget mouse for VERY small hands (15.5 x 7.5 cm) with a thumb rest

I'm looking for a mouse recommendation tailored for extremely small hands. I've been struggling to find something that fits well while offering good ergonomics.

Here are my details and requirements:

Hand size: 15.5 cm long x 7.5 cm wide

Must-have feature: A dedicated thumb rest

I prefer white color or any kind of purple/lavender.

Main use: General daily use / productivity / all-rounder (NOT for competitive gaming)

Priority: Pure comfort and ergonomics

Most thumb-rest productivity mice I've seen like the MX Master 3S or Razer Basilisk look way too massive for my 15.5 cm hands.

Are there any smaller budget options, mini ergo mice, or cheap hidden gems with a proper thumb rest that wouldn't feel like holding a brick?

Looking for recommendations (17.5x9cm, Relaxed Claw). Coming from FK1 & OP1.

I'm looking for a new mouse and could use some advice.

Hand size: 17.5 x 9 cm

Grip: Relaxed Claw

My mouse history: I started playing CS heavily when I was around 13, and I mained the Zowie FK1 for 7 years. It was insanely comfortable for me and I had zero issues with it until the switches finally gave out and started double-clicking.

After that, I switched to the Endgame Gear OP1 and have been using it for about 3 years. It's a great mouse, but I constantly feel like the knuckle of my pinky finger lacks support. It gets tense and fatigued after longer gaming sessions. I strongly suspect the OP1 is just a bit too narrow for my hand.

What I'm looking for: Since CS is my main focus, I need a solid recommendation for what to buy next. I'm currently thinking about ordering one of the following:

Zowie S2

Pulsar X2H

Endgame Gear XM2 (XM2we / 8k)

Has anyone with a similar hand size/grip tried these? Do you think any of them will fix my pinky support issue, or are there other mice I should look into?
