Drain fly issue

I had some drain flies start appearing at my kitchen sink for about a week. I did a vinegar and baking soda solution as well as multiple rounds of boiling water before and after. I covered the drains after the final round of boiling water. The problem now is that they are almost everywhere in the apartment. There are dozens in my bathroom now despite there only being 1-5 at a time in the kitchen. Luckily I did cover all my bathroom drains but I'm wondering if there's anything else I should do as I'm now worried they are going to multiply elsewhere.

Every time I try to launch minecraft nothing on the surface happens. In task manager the Open JDK platform binary will open and if I kill it I'll get the crash error shown in image 3. If I close and reload the launcher I get the error shown in image 2. I've tried just about everything I can think of. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher, java, the .minecraft folder, all 3 at once as well as one at a time, I've logged in and out of the microsoft store, reset the microsoft store, reset my pc, and tried to launch through different launchers like curseforge. I've looked at pretty much every tutorial associated with this problem and I've found nothing that works

edit: I ended up doing a basic reinstall of windows while keeping my files so it would seem that something within windows corrupted which was causing the issue. After the reinstall the game has worked fine
