WTS: Discontinued Franklin-Christoph 28 Libertas, Pilot Custom AKG22, Ensso Puma Minimalist

Got a few up for sale.

Franklin Christoph Model 28 Libertas - 1.1 Stub: brass bodied discontinued FC, I was curious about this one and had to try it out. I have enough slender pens right now. For the FC collector, 1.1 stub tuned by Kirk Speer. Body has scuffs or some brass if rather, but the chrome bits are in good condition. I will rate this C, see writing example. No OG box

$80

Ensso Puma Minimalist- this is an ebonite bodies pen, shows some use, but the ebonite holds up extremely well. I equipped it with a titanium Tom Studio nib that I have adjusted and ground to a medium-ish cursive smooth italic. Ti nibs are known to be scratchy but I smoothened this out some. Rated D for nib swaps and a marred bock feed and modding. The feed is not pretty, but functions pretty flawlessly. See writing example, flexes well and I’m not a flexer, the swiggles are with my non dominant right hand.

$75

Pilot Custom 22kAGM - nib is 18kt fine and bouncy. This shows wear from years of use, but it’s a catch and release for me. Writes a wet fine line, excellent flow and writer. Will rate C for no original box and being vintage.

▲ 3 r/prozac

Missed dose for three weeks, I don’t want to start again.

I realize I’m not past the withdrawal phase, or the worst of the potential symptoms yet. However, I’ve been on fluoxetine 40mg since late 2022. This is the longest I’ve gone without it, and prior to that, I was on lexapro for almost 6 years after slowly weening off over a period of two months. I must say, the three months that leading up to me having some emergency health issues and going back on ssri (Prozac) were the best I’ve felt since going on antidepressants. I could FEEL again, everything. My creative juices were back through the roof, I felt like everyday could be seized and my brain never stopped flipping every stone and sorting out life, the motivation to do more, be better, was never ending. That’s the feeling I remembered prior to going on lexapro.

So I’m at this crossroads now, due to a prescription mishap, I haven’t had a dose of Prozac in a little over 3 weeks. Mentally, I feel great. I still take 10mg of adderall twice a day, but I feel like my ADHD has always been the crux of my anxiety and depressive episodes (life is depressing am I right?)

I don’t want to go back on ssri’s, I don’t want to be “numb”, stagnant, content with life. I miss having ideas that kept me up at night shaking and plotting in my journal.. I miss being a little bothered by things, instead of unbothered by everything. I miss coming during sex without having to channel every naughty thought I’ve ever encountered.

The googs says a withdrawal symptom is a “relapse in original symptoms”. I feel like I’ve already been to hell and back, on meds, off meds, doesn’t matter. If I was functioning and perfectly fine prior to being medicated, what do I have to lose?

WTS: Zento Signature, Pilot Elite full size, Custom 22kAGM, Franklin-Christoph 66p, Lamy, Gravitas Ultem

Hey y’all.

Let these pens fly to a new home.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/PhpYbrcoRrvmpiM19

Zento Signature (Champagne) catch and release from swap. I haven’t used a rollerball consistently since early 2025. Not sure why I bought this, but here we are. It has a .03 refill in it and has not left my desk. Rated A2

$50

Pilot Elite full size <F> 14kt nib write like a western EF, it was NOS when I got it and has since only seen pilot inks on my desk. Rated B for vintage. Will include a pilot ink cart.

$80

Pilot Custom 22kAGM - nib is 18kt fine and bouncy. This shows wear from years of use, but it’s a catch and release for me. Writes a wet fine line, excellent flow and writer. Will rate C for no original box and being vintage.

$80

F-C 66 - clear acrylic, comes with black FC stub nib. Rated D for blue staining in barrel and lightly in cap. This was my designated eyedropper “blue” pen that I got in a trade and clearly why. Comes with FC pouch.

$90

Lamy Aion <F> very and I mean VERY smooth nib for a Lamy. It has the newer ss nib Aion nib and out of all these, I don’t mind if this doesn’t sell. Black aluminum body with minimal marks, I would rate this a solid B. Comes with Lamy converter and box.

$55

Gravitas Ultem pocket BB F-C steel nib that I ground to a smooth cursive italic. The Ultem is resilient and clean. rated D for nib swap and mod. No OG box.

$65

F-C S.I.G nib in medium. Not much needs to be said. Genuine sig nib, not sure where the card is, but if I find it it’s yours.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/MNHKPt9igxKJ91TP9

Bundle including Pilot Metropolitan, Karas Kustomz Vortex blu aluminum , Uniball Zento Signature
I am the original owner of the Vortex, comes with a lovely writing Karas nib ss in EF. There is light staining on inside of section, but the body and nib is rate as B.
Pilot Metro- M nib, would rate as B, nothing much to be said about this one. The star- Zento Signature, comes with a scratch on the body as shown, an unused .07 refill, no original box. Really just trying to destash and give someone a chance to check out some cool pens in one fell swoop.

$80

Lamy 2k - BCSI, was originally a Broad nib, this is a swap pick up and it’s in good used condition, rating my job on the CSI grind as a D. Writes well enough and has a bigger sweet spot than it originally had. Comes with original box. Will be rinsed out.

$120

Namiki Falcon- Soft Broad italic, this came to me I would like to think in worse condition, the previous cursive italic was very sharp and grabbed paper. I smoothed it out. Lovely writer now and plenty of flex and line variation.rated D for nib, otherwise a C at worst. Comes with converter. No box.

Platinum Century 3776: nib <M> extremely smooth for a platinum with the pencil like feedback, but the first I’ve tried that wasn’t annoyingly scratchy. This was purchased on the swap, and has served my itch well. Normal scuffs in the acrylic and no plating loss anywhere. I will package in a Platinum box, it sure if it’s the original. Comes with Platinum converter. Rated C.

$140

Opus 88: Another swap purchased. Will come with EF flex nib from Opus, I bought this to swap around jowo nibs, so rated D for that. Has staining inside cap and inner threads of section, otherwise it is a clean example. I don’t know if those parts can be cleaned or taken apart. Will come with opus box.

$60

Pilot Custom: <F> 14kt finger nail nib? not sure of the exact model, I did research but have lost the links. Very smooth writer, I would say a Japanese fine is applicable to the line it puts down. Has normal scuffs and swirls all over, C for vintage and wear. Will come packaged securely, no on box. I will include a blue or black pilot cartridge.

Good evening swap,

I was dumb enough tally up how much money I have lying around in fountain pens this afternoon. (With a few more incoming). So here’s a nice little sale, many more rounds to come. Officially downsizing!

Eureka FP Asymmetry ti nib- probably the star of the show. It’s A2, and has been inked once and written some since arriving after the most recent sale. This is the peek body and Ultem cap model, faceted and good feel in the hand. This is my 3rd go at Eureka, not sure why I’m not keeping them, but really haven’t given them a long enough stay at mi casa.

$180 $155

Magna Carta Cheshire (2nd release) - Gioia 1.1 gold tone stub, D for nib swapping, doesn’t come with the original box, I sold the nib separately thinking I’d keep this pretty pen (don’t mind if it doesn’t sell) but after my tally, I figured it would be quick cash. This was like new, from Kirk Speer. Will come packaged safely.

$150 (if you don’t need nib and housing take $20 off)

Pilot Deluxe d1000-NS <F> I believe this to be the model, correct me if I’m wrong experts. I got this off the swap last summer as my first foray into vintage Pilot. It exceeded all expectations and after 20+ vintage pilots, this remains top 3 as far as quality. A satisfying slip cap, refined texture throughout, writes like an absolute dream and have not needed to touch the nib, a blessing as I tinker with everything. Will come with a nondescript Pilot box, no cartridge or converter. Can throw in black or blue Pilot cart if needed. Rated C for vintage and unknown provenance.

$100

Franklin Christoph 46 - bought it nibless from their recent sale. Taking a $50 immediate hit, but whatev… Impulses. I willfully scuffed up the aluminum finial as it was too shiny and not well machined, it looks much better now. The body is pristine. D for modding. Comes with FC pouch.

Letting this fly, to one of you flexy lovers.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/bCugQJyW8yPsRyy2A

Just arrived today. Has been tuned by Kirk Speer.

I think titanium nibs fit this niche for me and I have plenty. As a left handed pusher, I’d have to learn an entirely new language (feels like) for this to work for me everyday. But I am also ambidextrous, still, it would be like learning a new language. You can see my writing samples with both hands. Has been inked, so will mark as A2.

With (jowo housing) ebonite feed and nib- $255

Without housing and feed, just nib- $205

Will be packages bomb proof and price cover insurance and shipping conus. PPGS

I had more than a handful of nibs I’ve wanted to send off for simple Cursive smooth italics or left-handed oblique. After a few botched nibs (see Hongdian on far left), I gave the tinkering a rest and just stuck with tuning my own nibs and catching an already reground nib on the swap or from F-C.

Just in the past hour I did the three nibs on the right. With a dremel, two bits, and a loop (loupe), I got three already good writing nibs to exactly where I needed them at BBCSI, BCSI, and MCSI.

I’m no Mike Masuyama by any means, but I’d be full of shit if I said I could tell the difference between his MCSI and mine.

Not being close to any major pen shows will force you to get dirty, being a cheap ass will too.
