A single branch is claiming 225+ selections total state quota seats are 1,170! If this is true , I am clearly not getting gmc even after st category:)

This is the condition of Jkadmissions portal ( directorate of school education)

I had a Grievance Redressal on Jk admission portal ,and the response I recived is totally irrelevant, copy pasted and if u see the timing, idk why are employees supposed to solve grievance at 4-5 am? This is how we are supposed to be treated !! Zero Accountability in Jandk

The lal chowk of jammu

Jammu Municipal Corporation is actually going ahead with Rs 70 Lakh clock tower project : They’re deciding between Parade and City Chowk for the spot

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I get the "regional parity" thing. We’ve all seen the condn. of Srinagar’s Lal Chowk looking all fancy and European, and honestly, a part of me wants Jammu to have that same vibe and a proper nightlife spot , But then Knowing our "Smart City" luck, are we getting a landmark or just a 70-lakh building tag?

I walked past Mubarak Mandi the other day and it’s actually heartbreaking Rani Charak Mahal and the rest of the complex are literally crumbling while we talk about "Smart" projects They’ve only finished about Rs 17 crore worth of work there in six years, even though nearly Rs 60 crore was sanctioned It feels like we’re ignoring our actual Dogra heritage—the Nanakshahi bricks and the unique pebble work—just to build a generic "European" replica that has nothing to do with Jammu’s soul , Dogra culture and heritage of City .Also, the logic of putting it in the most crowded lanes of the Old City makes zero sense to me , City Chowk and Parade chowk bcz of less space and both spots are covered by large building If this becomes a "selfie point," it’s going to be impossible to move , even Traders in Srinagar are already complaining that their commercial hub turned into a "picnic spot" where people just take photos and don't actually buy anything If they really want visibility, why not Indira Chowk or Shalimar where there's actually some breathing room? 70 Lakhs is a lot of taxpayer money for one clock tower After the Roshni Act mess and the whole SI recruitment drama, it’s hard not to wonder where the money is really going and some reports even suggested it is going to be like lalchowk , doesn't we have over cultural artitecture to be replicated? Even they are covering mubharak Mandi with new styled tiles leaving the fact of history, artitecture and cultural imprints behind

:(

And my biggest concern is bihar sharif clock tower build in almost 40 lacks , Is 70 lacks even enough this project? Bcz it should definitely be aesthetically pleasing, warna what's the concept behind building it ? What if we ended up having another unfinished project like tawi river front and mubharak Mandi complex?
