We purchased a home a year ago which has an under the sink RO system. Never really used it, the filter change was already overdue. For various reasons I am thinking of starting to use it but I am not sure if I can safely after such a long hiatus. Would it be enough just to change all the filters or should I do something else? Thanks!

I am fed up with the constant complaints from my survivors and thinking of wiping them out (turning furnace down, removing clinic worker, constant work and overtime, etc.). Will it cause me any trouble? I have tens of billions of resources, lack of production will not be a problem for a while. Please, no moral judgements! I know genocide is bad.
