I don't what's the issue but whenever these two have any scenes together they look so off dragging and boring. Like even the performances look so mid. Rabia(sajal) has better chemistry with that maid and sarbuland(danyal) has better scenes with that sorabh lala. Like it's so bad bland and off. Poor dialogues, and very average perfomances

Rabiya is a weak and selfish character because she flees from her problems, hides in dangerous places, ignores her family's pain, Her repeated choices highlight a frustrating lack of agency and empathy during major crises
She hides in a dirty water tank when first crises hit her and the. runs away while Bano is missing and Bibijan is in the hospital.
She shows no care or concern for her brother (bhai) or uncle (mama).
She marries Mudassir just to keep herself safe instead of facing the situation.
She never asks about Bano, the one person who helped and supported her the most.
Many shows rely on old ideas where women are victims who only wait for rescue. Once again that same forced marriage trope
I have never raged on seeing a male lead character so much. Like i literally want to go and smack this guy nalla kharbooja khan myself. Bro literally your fiancee is missing , she could be assaulted, she could have been in some serious state when you found her dupatta, all he did was chai biscuit phakki nihaari biryani continental. Am I supposed to vouch or like this character? Like dude he is a sardar, i have more respect for a common man who would go and try to find his partner. What's the point of this nonsensical story again ? To prove that this sarbuland khan is an impotent? A complete loser? A failure ? What a loser man he is.
Obviously I loved bilal and hania in MZHT. Loved hania as gulmeena in sang e mah. Her accent was so good. Wish she was casted. She would have aced this role and bilal hania coming in for a revenge story for MZHT would have made been firey.
They always take the viewership of a subset and post it on their handles while the trps are really lesser than that. Plus shaidai ending has gave it some more traffic but overall views remained the same.
Honestly watching Zanjeerain, I prefered the chemistry between Sahar and Danyal so much more than his pairing with Sajal Aly.
The bond between Sherbano and Sarbuland felt infinitely better and sweeter. It was built on raw emotional stakes, family tragedy, and a deep-rooted sense of loyalty that made every single interaction feel completely earned and grounded. They didn't need to force anything; their connection relied on subtle, unsaid tension and a natural, organic maturity that kept me completely hooked.
On the flip side, the romance between Sajal and Danyal just feels cringe to me. Transitioning them into a romantic track so quickly after the tragic death of Rabiya's husband felt incredibly rushed and out of place. To make matters worse, the show tries way too hard to manufacture "chemistry" through overly stylized slow-motion sequences and endless, lingering eye-contact scenes in hospital.
I am sorry why are zanjeerain fans justifying it's characters so much. This man sarbuland is clear red flag. This show is a disasterpiece. So he doesn't know his fiance is dead or missing yet he is so chill when he breaks the nikaah news to rabiya. Even if he thinks she is no more, the timelines are so fast for a move on. I mean was this scene added later? Because he was shocked in jirga. And why is sajal agreeing to do such scripts ? Even that character rabiya was so chill - ok bro let's get married. Didn't her hubby just die protecting her some months back. I mean no problem with moving on but the emotions don't settle right and neither the timelines.
Farhat ishtiyaq needs to be called out big time for this forced marriage trope. Why couldn't she keep rabia surbuland platonic. And i swear their scenes together are so unbearable. Like literally. And that mahwash ejaz whose payroll is she on ?

There is no doubt there is a huge PR machinary supporting it. That show literally's so freaking irritating and draining now and it's fans who keep hyping it without rhyme or reason are even more lame. I can't can't the cringe romance between sarbuland and Rabiya is super indigestible. They are like so chill cracking jokes , 3 people gone and they are like totally nonchalant. Doing chai biscuit. I mean can we just cut to the chase and finish this show already. I cannot believe I would ever dislike a show with sajal in it but it's so crass so crass. The show has nosedived after episode 17. Honestly the entire vibe is dead. And jokes - lame jokes af. He is such a braindead writing. The actor playing sorabh and shireen deserve credit rest it's a snoozefest.
