Left turn advice

I (follow) consistently miss the cue for the left turn in social dancing. 🥲 Not sure what the issue is, it’s not an advanced move, but my brain doesn’t seem to remember about its existence. I can do it well on my own and I can do more complicated combinations. But every time the lead prepares for the left turn I expect a right turn and realize too late that it was meant to be a left turn. sometimes I can fix it but it doesn’t flow as nice, other times it is too late to even try to fix it. This happens with different leads.

Anybody in the same boat? any advice or possible guess about why this happens?

Also, on a different note, do you also struggle to remember the names of the people you meet at social dancing? I’ve been going to the same event for a year so a lot of familiar faces but only remember a few names.

Mango tree - Brown leaves

Hello, I live in inland SoCal (climate zone 10). It is very hot and dry right now. I really don't want this Mango tree to die, but some leaves are turning brown and it stopped growing at the beginning of summer (disregard the white parts, that's just diatomaceous earth). Is there anything I can do to save it? We water regularly, drip irrigation 30 minutes every other day early morning plus extra water when needed. The soil feels moist. How do I know if the problem is the heat or that the soil doesn't drain well and possible root rot?

Here are different solution I have in mind, would you do any of this or do you have other ideas?

  1. Spray the leaves with water. The rational is that Mango likes moist, and the weather is too dry here in SoCal
  2. Add some compost at the base of the tree. My soil sucks, as you can see from the photo.
  3. Put a beach umbrella to provide shade. I have done this when the tree was smaller. I just felt that it didn't need it anymore, after all it is a plant that likes hot weather, and the fig tree right next to it is doing great without cover.

Also I don't know how to judge if the problem is rotten roots, or what to do if it is. Any advice on that?

Urgent. Donkey laying on the grass in the sun by the Starbucks.

EDIT: I called Riverside county department of animal services, they will come and have a look. Maybe I overreacted. The donkey now has moved but it still lying down. Maybe they were just resting but in full sun at this time of the day with all the other donkeys standing around staring from the shade looked like a weird situation!

who should we contact for help. the donkey is likely sick or maybe even dead who knows. other donkeys are standing in the surroundings looking.

[product question] elf vitamin C serum color

Hello! I wonder if this looks too dark. I am worried it might have oxidized. It‘s brand new but I was expecting a lighter color.
