Looking for whitnesses

Hi, I got hit by a car today on the Fort Greene Place/Fulton St intersection. Was in quite a lot of pain and someone was so kind to walk me to the hospital. My collarbone turned out to be broken and my bike is pretty much destroyed as well.

The driver did stop for a bit, trying to argue with me that I was in the wrong, while I went straight down Fulton and she took a right.

In all the chaos I forgot to note down any details from the driver, which are going to be quite important for the insurance.

Any tips/leads from people that saw this happen and might know more about the car/driver are very much appreciated!

Happened around 8.10-15 AM.

When trying to put tires on my brand new Reynolds AR46 Pro rims, my lever slipped off twice. Only after the second time I noticed that it had damaged the rim.

It seems pretty fucked to me, but a few things that I hope you guys can help with:
- Is this something a carbon repair shop could fix?
- Is it normal that damaging the rim happens this easily when using tire levers to put on a tire?
- How does one prevent this from happening? I have really tried everything in terms of putting on tires without levers, but I really have no clue how one does that
