How the fuck do you achieve this?!

Brothers, I have genuine question. I stumbled over those pics and tried to search any guides for painting like this. But all of them are somehow just something else, look different. They aren’t so smooth and consistent and look like usual metallic paints as leadbelcher, runefang and retributor. So if you know how to paint like this, have any guides, please share I beg youuuuu, for Vulkan’s sake

Same models, new details!

Last weekend I finished two models but as I looked at them today I decided to add few more details. Paint bases, add mud and blood on legs and transfer decals. And I guess I’ve fucked with the last one. I let them soak in a water for a minute, then placed them on shoulder and pressed it with sponge to suck out excess water. But it still has those gaps or air bubbles. So idk. Am I doing something wrong or is it just shape of our chapter emblem?

Ancient history aesthetic on salamanders

So not all, but some of legions and chapters aesthetic clearly has inspiration of ancient countries and warriors — i.e. Ultramarines have things that were clearly inspired by Romans, Thousand sons by Egypt, Carcharodons by Polynesian cultures (if I understand it correctly), and so on.
We have some that were inspired by Greece — Minotaurs and maybe Iron hands (but I don’t really sure, mainly it’s cuz Olympia and implying their tactics rely highly on efficiency and not viewing life more than a number on screen of casualties).
Meanwhile Salamanders don’t have such direct visible inspiration, we have only few names (Prometheus, names of seven main cities of Nocturne — Hesiod, Themis, Epimethus, Helios, etc).
For me it’s clear that Vulkan and Salamanders have that inspiration, sadly only verbally, not physically or artistically. I don’t see a lot of opinions, arts and conversions that embrace or develop that idea. All our aesthetic goes into flame, forgery and dragons (which I love, without any question).
I just wanna know what you think about it. Are our bois inspired by Greece (maybe Thebes specifically), so it’s okay to put more of things inspired by it into conversions? Or am I just dreaming?

P.S. I’m gonna put some greece things like swords, helmets and others things in my minis anyway, cuz I like that idea, cuz that’s my minis haha, but I just wanna know your opinions, brothers

Help me find isekai anime I’ve seen 10+ years ago

I remember I’ve seen an anime where guy gets isekaid into medieval Japan (sengoku period I guess) and uses his knowledge of history and games to help.
What details I remember clearly:
Modern male protagonist;
Wears a backpack;
Remember a scene where he and some military gets stuck on forest road. Those military has rifles and they wait for an enemy ambush, they worry about having to spend a lot of time to reload if they shoot all at once, that’s why they can die. But MC suggests rotating volley fire of three - four ranks, explaining how it works and that he know it from game or history (while he explaining scene shows game map where appears some kind of card with that event).
Something like that
Please do not suggest its Ambition of Oda Nobuna, it’s not it
