Why is making actual friends in Dubai so hard??
Like everyone's here, everyone's bored on weekends, but somehow nobody knows how to meet people outside of school or work. You see the same faces at the same spots and still don't know anyone.
Been working on something to fix this specifically for UAE. Would love to know, how do you guys actually meet new people here?

Been thinking about this problem for a while. Dubai has one of the most multicultural, transient populations in the world, yet there's no real infrastructure for social connection outside of work.
Curious how other founders here have approached the cold start problem for social apps. Specifically: how do you get the first 500 users in a city where trust is low and people are busy?
