Gravel Geo Question
Interested in potentially building a gravel frame. Would love 50 mm clearance with 425 mm chain stays. Has anyone had success with this? I’d imagine you’d need a yoke/plate chainstay but even then is it possible?

Hey all, owner of a 2017 Mazda 3 Touring. Need to get the front control arms replaced because the ball joint is shot. Normally I’d do it myself but don’t feel quite comfortable accessing the undercarriage for some of the control arm bolts. Mechanic quoted $900 in parts for the front driver and passenger control arms only. Said he was using Moog parts, which I see on Moog’s website for ~$160 a side. Said the parts are more expensive because they have to source through approved suppliers for their warranty/insurance. Is this normal?
For context, I’m 28M, 182 cm tall, with a 77 cm saddle height. My current gravel bike is a size M 2022 BMC URS. I’m considering a Crux, and see some very good deals on size 61 frames. Specialized lists the 61 as being for a taller rider, but the reach and wheelbase are nearly identical to the URS I currently ride. The stack is a fair bit higher, but I run 3 cm of spacer on the URS. Am I silly to consider this?
