Been riding big motorbicheals for the last couple years and finally got a moped again. Crusty barn find 79a3, cleaned, rebuilt, kitted, carbed up, piped, tired, and soon to be lit. Made it to 41 going downhill yesterday, scary stuff.
First time building a single wire CDI system for a kitted a3.
This is a generic CDI for a Suzuki lt80. Seems people have success with these and they're mad cheap.
One of these contaxta has got to be power from the coil and one is ground, but which is which? How would I test this without potentially frying it.
My initial thought was to give the spark plug wire a bit of juice off of AA and see what contact was getting power, but I'm second guessing myself.
Any ideas?
Seasoned camper and long time wnc resident.
I have a friend coming in town that I want to take camping. 2 nights, Drive up or easy backpacking sites, with creeks to play in/swimming holes. A pretty easy find, but the catch is that I also have to find somewhere with ok cell service because I'm the emergency contact for someone else's trip happening at the same time.
I'm looking for any good ideas.

I want to replace the bulbs in my harbor breeze firefly string lights but they use this seemingly proprietary bulb and I can't find anywhere that carries it. Google has been unhelpful. Second pic is comparing it to a regular string light.
