What’s your favorite Nikon Imaging Recipe so far?

It’s been a couple of years since Nikon’s Imaging Recipes were introduced, so I’m Curious what everyone’s favorite recipe(s) has been so far.

If you decided not to shoot RAW for a day and just wanted to enjoy shooting JPEGs, which recipe would you choose?

Obviously, you would still make small exposure adjustments if needed, but otherwise I’m thinking basically straight out of camera. No color correction afterward.

If you could only pick one or two recipes, what would they be?

LPT: If an online store doesn’t ship to your country, search for a “parcel forwarding service” before giving up

I sometimes see people asking things like, “Do you ship to Europe?”, “Is there any way to order this in Germany?”, or “How can I buy this if the store only ships within the US?”

The answer is often a parcel-forwarding service.

I live abroad, and a surprising number of online stores either don’t ship internationally or charge ridiculous shipping prices. I personally use **Shop & Ship by Aramex**, but there are many other companies offering the same type of service.

The company gives you local delivery addresses in different countries. For example:

  1. I order something from a US store.
  2. I use Shop & Ship’s Florida address at checkout.
  3. The store sends it there as a normal domestic shipment.
  4. Aramex receives it and forwards it to my home abroad.

These services exist in many parts of the world. Depending on the company, you may be able to get delivery addresses in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Turkey, and other major shopping markets.

So whenever you see, “We don’t ship to your country,” try searching for:

* US parcel forwarding to [your country]

* Package forwarding from [store’s country]

* Reshipping service [your country]

* International parcel forwarding

* Virtual shipping address

A few things to check before ordering:

* **Shipping cost:** Heavy or bulky products can become very expensive.

* **Dimensional weight:** A large but lightweight box may be charged as though it were much heavier.

* **Taxes and customs:** You may still owe VAT, customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees.

* **Restricted items:** Batteries, liquids, perfume, medication, food, and certain electronics may not be accepted.

* **Returns:** Returning an item or making a warranty claim can be much more difficult.

* **Blocked addresses:** Some stores recognize and reject known forwarding addresses.

* **Package consolidation:** Some services can combine several orders into one shipment, which may save money.

It isn’t always the cheapest solution, but it can give you access to products that otherwise appear completely unavailable in your country.

MacBook Wrap

Does anyone know where I can get a vinyl wrap/skin installed on a MacBook?

I’m looking for something similar to a dbrand skin, but I’d prefer to have it installed professionally instead of doing it myself. Ideally, I’d like a clean matte or textured wrap that fits a 14-inch MacBook Pro.

Any recommendations for shops that do this kind of work?
