As soon as you get close to 16 mil GSP the most miserable players match with you. Constant taunting during the game, during the results screen and if you beat them they disconnect right before the match ends. Actual personality disorders.
I know this game has no servers so I can stomach a bit of lag but if you come into the game with levels of lag so abysmal that intentionally disconnecting and getting banned for several minutes would be faster than completing the match, you need to log off and stop wasting everyone's time. How are you even having fun playing like this? Do you also watch movies 1 frame per hour?
I main chargers and play pretty much all of them except for scoped variants, though I mainly play the Splat Chargers and Squiffers. Reef-lux, Stamper and Jet Squelcher feel like weapons with playstyles that compliment different aspects of the charger playstyle. I've thought of maybe Dualie Squelchers as well?
Obviously my fault but it's kinda annoying. The most common weapons I've memorized at this point but sometimes I'm caught off guard. Like rushing a Custom Blaster down and dying because I forgot it has Triple Splashdown and thinking it had Big Bubbler or something.
They both have the same range and can both charge in the air. Reeflux can hold its charge as well but it moves faster on the ground and it paints extremely good. It's a tiny bit harder to aim with Reeflux when it comes to one-shotting people but not by much and there's no laser showing the enemy where you're aiming which makes up for it and you don't have to aim for tap shots like with Squiffer. I guess it can't pierce through enemies like Squiffer can but Reeflux charges faster which I find more useful most of the time? What does Squiffer even offer besides that when we aren't talking about kits and just the base weapon?
I was playing some private battles with some players who had reached top 10 in tentatek and top 1000 and 500 in takaroka and I was so dogshit in comparison it was basically unplayable. I was basically that one teammate that you ragequit over in Anarchy Series. Went 0 splats and 10 deaths one time. Was amazing to see that level of skill but I don't think any amount of practice could ever make me that good. Feel kinda disillusioned honestly.
I've had enough of teammates not contributing.
Such a unique kit with Splattershot Jr as the sub weapon which is easy to miss because it's nowhere to be seen.
The entire game they kept running to the enemy spawn and dying.
Playing it makes me fall asleep. I wish it wasn't a meta weapon. Bamboozler is Snipewriter but actually fun.
Besides Splat Zones they're useless every single game. It's not just that the weapon is bad, they have absolutely no game sense either. In Tower Control, when the enemy is approaching the last checkpoint... WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU IN THEIR BASE??? Who are you spawncamping when they're all on the opposite side??? And even in Splat Zones it's not uncommon for them to get their special and just throw it anywhere but the zone.
You just took our chances of winning from at least 1% to 0%. Why do people keep doing this???
I agree that there should maybe be more cover and flank routes, I agree that the stages feel a bit uninspired but the complaint that the game forces you into fights with the enemy makes no sense to me? Why is having to engage with the enemy a bad thing? Doesn't it mean you actually have to think more about controlling the map when you can't easily avoid enemies?
Obviously it's a skill issue but I think I've reached a dead end. I could get better at movement, aiming, etc but I don't really think that's my biggest issue at this point. I have lots of games where I have a massive lead but near the end I guess the enemy team "figures me out" and end up winning which means I must be telegraphing massively. And I think that's because I essentially play this game solo even though it's a team game. I try to support my team but there's so little communication in this game so I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to do besides guessing most of the time, and I can't sit back and watch because then it becomes a 3v4. After countless games I've started to see patterns and guessing often works out but it can also be extremely unreliable. Sure, one could say SoloQ is just like that but people reach high X powers playing by themselves so obviously there is something they understand I don't when it comes to teamplay despite the game's lack of communication.
I guess two teammates had triple inkstrike but the enemy team had way better painting options, plus a .52 Gal to run around as a frontliner. I didn't use my special at all because I didn't want to risk dying while using it and I still ended up dying a ton. Spent the entire game throwing autobombs at the hydra and bloblobber to force them to move and then hunting them while they were away from the zone and isolated. Insane sweat fest we barely won and only because both splattershots were cracked at the game.
They can charge their special so fast and they all already have every ability slot dedicated to quick respawn. If I see a tri-slosher nouveau I know the game has just become "take out the tri-slosher" because if I don't my entire team is gonna die because of them. It doesn't matter if they just keep rushing the enemy and dying because they'll be back immediately to give their teammates tacticooler.
