Rewatching the Provisional License arc after finishing therapy hit way harder than I expected
I stopped watching MHA around season 4 for no real reason, life just got busy. Started it back up last week right after wrapping up months of therapy for anxiety, and got to the part where Deku admits he's terrified but pushes through the exam anyway. Just sat there kind of stunned. That specific mix of being scared and doing the thing anyway is basically what therapy spent months trying to teach me, and seeing it animated out like that got me way more emotional than I thought a shonen fight scene could. Anyone else notice certain arcs land completely differently depending on where you're at in life when you watch them?
