So basically i never watched any dragon ball movies, i watched dragon ball, i finished dragon ball kai, and im now on dragon ball kai "final chapters" episode 30,

My main question is from what i undestand theres just SO much out there, and its such a convoluted watch order, but honestly i prefer watching episodes instead of a full length movie, so is it a necessity to watch the movies to follow the story?, asking this cause my current idea is once i finish episode 61 of dragon ball kai final chapters i just jump right into dragon ball super?

And yes, i have tried to research on my own before posting this question but all the answers are so confusing like "yee dont watch these episodes, watch daima (what even is that) a movie, then skip x episodes from super, hence why im making this post, to ask, will i be confused if i jump straight into DB super after finishing dragon ball kai final chapters?

Fully unrelated sidenote semi spoilers i was expecting more saiyan transformations during my watch of dragon ball but up till now all i witnessed is just everyones hair going yellow and some sparks flying from them from time to time lol

Edit: this is the most confusing thing ever, yall genuinely confused me even more now, only one decent answer up till now, so it seems ill just follow that one persons advice and stick to super, and once done with super watch the 2 movies they said, this community is a confusing bunch🫠

Edit 2: So the current plan after a few different people said it seems to be i'll finish dragon ball kai: the final chapters, then move onto dragon ball super, after super watch dragon ball super broly, and dragon ball super hero.

I'll try to update this post once i finish watching all of these to let future googlers know if it works lol

So I was scrolling and saw a post of the DBS Beerus and while looking at the comments, there's a few of the people who think it's unnecessary there and others who are into it as per usual, but there was this one person that said they're gonna not watch to avoid spoilers, a person it response went "What Spoilers it's just gonna be the same thing with better animation", to which another person responded back "I think they're adding Manga stuff" and the second person responds back with and I quote "There is not Manga Stuff, the Manga starts with the Universe 6 and Universe 7 stuff cuz y'know, it actually expects you to have watched any of the two times BOG or ROF was shown"

This had me unbelievably dumbfounded, to the point where I almost actually responded to try and explain to them that the Manga starts with the Beerus arc but another person beat me to it, them after being called out, the person went "Y'all are taking this way too personally if you wanna be scammed by Toei fine". I feel like this might be the perspective most people against this remake have and I bring it up because I wanted to ask if anyone else had a similar experience to this, please let me know

I know during the Cell Saga, Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Future Trunks all wanted to surpass the Super Saiyan wall. While mastering Super Saiyan was important to minimize the drawbacks of the form, it makes me wonder how much stronger SSJ Goku and SSJ Gohan would be if they didn't train their Super Saiyan forms and instead just trained in base form.

How much would Goku and Gohan be set back without fully mastered Super Saiyan forms? Not just during the Cell Saga, but in general and in future sagas.

What if Goku had remembered his old friend Eighter? When Trunks told them about the Androids from the future, what if Goku had gone to Jingle Village with Bulma to ask Eighter for help?

How would the story have played out differently? Would they have discovered the emergency shutdown controllers sooner? Or might the Z Fighters have found Dr. Gero before he could activate the Androids? (Although Vegeta might have gotten in the way and prevented that from happening.)

I really like this movie. I remember when I first saw it in theaters and was pretty on the fence about the animation in the beginning but I got used to it as the movie went on. Within the last couple weeks though I’ve rewatched it a couple times and now I gotta say I actually love the animation, and just the whole movie. I really don’t think I’ve ever seen cgi in anime that was this good. It also has a kind of action figure aesthetic to it which is perfect for this movie considering it’s called Super Hero. And I know this doesn’t have to do with the animation, but the story is nearly one-to-one with the manga.
