Sorry if this sounds like a weird post, but I don't know what it is. Whenever an annual event begins, such as the Nar Shadda Nightlife event, it means to me, at least, that it feels like both a celebration of Summer and a goodbye to it as well(I live in the US, so I know it's not summer everywhere in the world).

With Fall being my favorite season, the Nar Shadda Nightlife event, I'd say, is definitely my favorite annual event, just because its ending means Fall is right around the corner. I also enjoy the Feast of Prosperity event as well because it feels like it's a celebration of Fall that moves into Winter when it ends.

I know this reads like a weird post, but I don't really know how else to explain it. Ultimately, these are just in-game events that don't really mean anything, but it's fun to track when they begin and end and how the seasons change.

Also, I'd love for SWTOR to get an actual Halloween-type event. I know Feast of Prosperity kind of fits it, but that feels more like a Thanksgiving-type event than anything Halloween-related.

I'm looking to get back into The Old World after taking a small break from it, and I'm trying to decide if I wanna use Jade Warriors and Jade Lancers or go with Peasant Spears and Bows for the normal rank-and-file. The few times I played, I was utterly underwhelmed by both the Jade Warriors and Lancers.

Ideally, I'd only wanna use the Peasant Spears as a blocker so my Shugengan(s) can flank my opponent's units.

How effective are Cathay gunlines? Can on-foot Crane Gunners and cannons be used to whittle down an opponent's army and then mop them up with Miao Ying and Shugengans, or do I need to field actual warriors too?

I'd prefer not to take any warriors, lancers, or peasants and instead have a gun line of Crane Gunners, six cannons, Miao Ying, and 3 Shugengans. Would that be a viable list, or would it be an illegal list?

As a Tigers fan, I'm pretty happy with the trade. I'm excited for Hope in a year or two, and I think the Tigers pitching coaches could do some great things with Ryan and Brady. Also, I think I'm on Team Dodger for the rest of the season.

People in r/baseball are getting mad at the Tigers and Tigers fans for this, so now I wanna see the Dodgers 3-peat just to stick it to them.

I've been thinking of starting a Wolf Pack of Angmar list because I think the list looks really fun, and it feels like the type of list I'd really enjoy playing.

While I love the look of the Werewolves for MESBG, I'm not in love with the idea of paying $78.00 for two of them per box. I also really like the look of the Wulfen from 40k, and while I know I couldn't run them in tournaments, I think it'd be fun to make a Wolf Pack of Angmar army made from Wulfen.

I know I'd need to buy 50 mm bases for the Wulfen to stand on, but for casual games, would running Wulfen as proxies for MESBG Werewolves be ok?

I was thinking it'd be 25 Werewolves with 15 in one warband and 10 in another warband.

I tuned into the Pokémon Go stream and watched it for 45 minutes. I got the reward code which gave me everything except the Timed Research which was listed in the news on the Pokémon Go app.

For anyone else who tuned in, did you receive Timed Research from the Twitch reward or no? I'm assuming it was a mistake listed in the article, I just wanna make sure it was a mistake and that I didn't miss out on some research.

Back when I played Lorcana I was a huge fan of Red Blue ramp with Tamatoa, Hiram, Fishbone Quill, etc. It felt very much like an Izzet combo deck from Magic which is what I loved about it.

After Hiram was banned, I decided to take a break from Lorcana, and recently I've been wanting to get back into it. I'm a huge fan of combo-control decks and would love to build something along those lines.

If it helps, some of my favorite decks in Magic are Blue/Red Gifts Storm, Izzet Phoenix, Azorius/Jeskai Control, Dimir Inverter, and Bant/Temur Reclamation.

I've always wanted to brew around The Sorcerer's Spellbook, but AFAIK, there isn't a way to infinitely untap it, along with infinitely untapping a card in your inkwell to activate it.
