I want to get a somewhat decently paid government job which might be a bit far fetched and probably really boring or idk but I honestly dont know what else I want to do. A stable job with good pension sounds pretty good though. I was planning to maybe do political science or maybe smth health policy. Love to hear any advice or anything, would really help thanks!! It'll be great to know what people have ended up doing after taking social sciences. I also heard that uottawa was a pretty good option, mcmaster also sounded pretty nice, not sure though.

PS. A bunch of friends are planning to get into waterloo so it's pretty high on my list right now. I'm not sure if it's personally the best option for me though idk. I know I'll be awesome to rush to class on the same campus together and go home to a group minecraft session while cramming for midterms or smth.

I have an extremely vauge idea of what I want to do in the future whether that be career-wise, education-wise, or idk being alive-wise. Honestly this is just a rant on how cooked I feel and I just want some life advice in general?? Sorry in advance, this is quite long, skip to the end if you want. I'll spoiler the background info so it doesn't clog up everything??

Some Backround:
>!I planned on doing pharmacy since my parents said it was pretty good so I was aiming for uoft life science. Problem is though, I'm kinda of not the greatest in science..and by that I mean I have a 75% in both bio and chem right now and I dont even want to talk about physics. (bio done, chem proabbly going down test tmr bad I know, physics oh god no) Not to defend myself but also to defend myself, my science teachers were...all I'll say is not great, this is based off several other classmates good and bad alike. (Im mentally and physically dying in their presence other than chem, but those questions are not real) !<

>!One point I want to make though is that I have a classmate friend who does pretty well and just self studies and teaches themself everything I guess so that probably just says I'm not a great student. I need to work on time management and I recognize that I don't really do my homework or be productive enough in general. I always feel like I never have the motivation to do anything though and always end up doing everything last minute, my sleep schedule is a wreck, i dont know anymore. I really need to fix the bad habits I have but I've never really learnt how. I've seen people say things like just push through even without motivation and something along those lines but I don't think thats ever worked for me. Maybe I just dont try hard enough though, honestly I just think I want to try harder without trying harder. !<

>!Somehow I stumbled upon Social Sciences and it looks honestly pretty good, the grade requirement is probably more managable for me(?) and what they do is probably slightly more interesting(??) I also think you can probably get a government job or smth like that through that path, and a government job does sound quite nice. I'm also probably better at essays or assignments and such as well, probably because unlike sciences its short term effort instead of long term effort like actually doing your homework everyday if that makes sense. Like for an english assignment I can randomly compile something last minute and It'll do fine, I made a pretty good high effort drawing for some mural presentation we're doing and it's great (I don't know why we're drawing while in english...why are we making murals..). I also do fine in speaking and such (got all 4s for bookclub disccusion).!<

>!Another little bit about me is that I think I enjoy pretty much everything creative. Things like photography, art, music, composing, video editing, etc are all thing I really love. I also like planning trips for people (mainly family), I did a weekish plan in quebec and am compiling one for china right now. I don't see myself makign a career out of these though and want them to stay hobbies. Mainly because I probably wouldn't get a good job out of it, I want a stable decent income job idk. Probably kind of vain of me but yeah... Some other things are uh for chemistry labs were pretty fun, I'm suprisingly good at titration? if that matters. And alledgedly I'm a good explainer?? Somehow I can explain chem pretty well and accurately while doing terrible on test or maybe these questions just arent real....painful.!<

Main part:

In gr 11 so far, I have 90s in pretty much everything else except sciences (70s..) and english (84%..) but that isn't really important probably. Next year in grade 12 I'm taking Chem, Bio, Calc, Functions, Eng, Heathcare, and Music. Which seems pretty obvious that I would be aiming for life science, and is also one of the reasons why I'm not sure I can just switch paths to social science. The other reasons are that I'm not certain if I'll get a nice stable job out of it , if I'll actually get in, and if I'll actually like it more than life science. I wanted to get into uoft but that might be unrealistic so I'm probably going to explore other options.

I was also wondering if early admissions would even help in my case since my grade arent that great. I heard it would push my application higher up or something but I dont know.

Like the title says i lost my jacket around maybe 1pm today probably on the eastbound from High park station? Does anyone know how likely i am to get it back...called the lost and found number but 30min went by and no one picked up.

It's a pink no hood probably button up i think it was from zara and had this like fake velvet type fabric I found a random picture online that it sort of looks like dont have any actual pictures sadly
