Has anyone tried running a Spark 40 signal out using the headphone jack to the Power Amp In section of another guitar's FX loop amp? Did this work? Thanks!

I purchased a bone nut and saddle off amazon to replace the plastic ones on my Gretsch Jim Dandy acoustic. I'd like to try ageing it so that it matches the plastic ones that I am replacing as close as possible. I will be sanding to get them to fit properly before aging. I've seen recommendations for soaking in tea or coffee, using shoe polish, and other things. Any recommendations on what to use to age it?

I'm making bacon for the first time using the Classic Traditional American Bacon Recipe on AmazingRibs.com. The calculator says that I should cure 4.8lbs of bacon for 2.8 days using prague powder #1. When I look at other bacon recipes, I see 5-7 days. It will be ready to smoke using the Amazing Ribs recipe early in the morning (3 am), but there is the possibility of thunderstorms tomorrow. I don't want to get up that early to smoke it, but I will if I need to.

How long do most people cure bacon? Can I smoke it 10 hours earlier than the recipe states? Can I leave it in the solution for 2-4 more days before smoking?
