Pickling liquid for fiery dill pickles forgot to add water…

My husband was working on pickling & made a batch of these same pickles last weekend. He feels extremely silly that he couldn’t understand why he was much shorter on liquid & our house just now has the awful pure vinegar smell. But basically he had already processed the 4 jars with liquid in it & we stuck at least the other jars packed with the cucumbers & spices in the fridge.

So on that note, if there’s just 4 pints of these spicy dill pickles that were not diluted with water in the pickling liquid (just pure cider vinegar brought to a boil with pickling spice), is there a chance they won’t be awful? Or what would you do with what will probably be super sour pickles?

Husband is still pretty upset with himself when it dawned on him he totally just forgot to add water. But it was still very laughable.

Looking for local glass artists for pet memorials

This is a bit of a long shot, but I'm hoping someone might know the right person.

After losing our senior dog this past fall and, more recently, our beloved 20-year-old cat, I'm hoping to finally create the memorials we'd been talking about for a long time.

I was hoping for something more personal than a traditional keepsake. Possibly custom glass art with a small amount of their ashes incorporated into it. In my head, I’m wishing to have some simple figurines of a sleeping dog and sleeping cat with their ashes in their pieces, but I'm not sure what’s possible or if any local artists can do something like that.

If anyone knows someone who is a close (or surrounding area) artist who might be willing to chat about something like this, I'd really appreciate the recommendation.

Hotel mattress inquiry / mattress shopping around area

SO & I have been needing to look into getting a new mattress. I think both of us are just in that mode of not really sure what our bodies are really going to do well with so any kind of time we take to go somewhere to sit or quick lay on a mattress when we’ll probably think it’s a million times better than what we already sleep on.

One thing I am curious about if anyone has any insight here is does anyone know what mattresses are used at the Kindler Hotel? I stayed there the night before my wedding & it was one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on & maybe at least that can give me an idea of a good starting point.

Or else where have you had a good experience with mattress shopping here in Lincoln or Omaha? I am realistic in the fact that something I sleep on every night is worth the investment so I’m not trying to necessarily be cheap but still budget conscious. Share your experiences! Or places to avoid.
