Managed to lose the yellow center piece of the waist down the drain, so I had to scratch-build a replacement from pla-plates. 😅
Great HG to paint, with lots of easy and fun color separation to play with a little scribing.
I’m going to try to be a bit bolder with the scribing on the legs to get some more practice in.
Just completed my first Plague Marines (and my first Space Marines in general)!
As a Tau player, I wanted to start a Chaos army. I knew I wanted power armor, but none of the loyalists really clicked with me. They felt a bit too “good guy-ish.”
At first I jumped into Emperor’s Children because of all the hype around their release. I painted about half the army, but honestly… I just didn’t vibe with them. The painting process felt kinda boring to me, so I ended up selling them to a friend. At that point I was pretty disappointed and thought maybe Chaos just wasn’t for me.
But I didn’t want to give up, so I turned to Papa Nurgle for his benediction… and wow, what a blessing that turned out to be.
I bought a grey Death Guard army from another friend and started painting some Poxwalkers before finally moving on to the Marines. And holy Nurgle, these sculpts are incredible. I’ve never seen this much variation in Space Marines before. Every model feels like its own disgusting little character or concept. Painting them has been an absolute blast.
I finally see the light!
Next up is a Rhino so I can unleash the plague bus haha.
