A friend of mine knows absolutely nothing about e-bikes, but he wants to build a 48V one on a shoestring budget.

I know a bit more about it than he does, since I own an electric scooter and an e-bike I built myself.

However, I don't want to give him advice unless I'm 100% sure. Could anyone tell me if all these components are compatible?

They have ports I'm not familiar with—specifically the battery, which has a "JST" port, and the motor, which doesn't seem to have phase wires.

Could someone shed some light on this?

Pourquoi est-ce que mon moteur électrique conversion kit ne rentre pas dans les dropout de mon vélo ?

J'ai acheté ce kit de conversion CSC :

Il est marqué qu'il est compatible avec les drop out de 135 à 142mm. Cependant j'ai eu la surprise de voir qu'il ne passait pas sur mon vélo qui a pourtant des dropout de 140mm (Je l'avais mesuré sans la roue)

La cassette et le disque frottent. Il est impossible de mettre un étrier de frein.

Si quelqu'un connait la raison et/ou la solution ça ne serait pas de refus. J'aimerai savoir s'il existe des adaptateurs d'étrier plus fins qui pourraient passer ou même des étriers de freins qui pourraient être compatible.

I want to make an ebike with a e scooter battery

Hey guys,
I need advice to build my 48v 1000w 26" e-bike, I would like to use a battery, a screen and a komodo from Ausom l1 that my friend no longer uses. To build my e-bike. I don't know if this will be compatible with the controller and motor I want to buy. I need advices. Should I buy cable adapters because those won't work or is it directly good with basic cables? Should I buy extra stuff ?
