lack of community in uni

I'm starting my 2nd year of cs (LMD) at a local university in a small city where there are no clubs, no hackathons, no tech events, and the only internships offered are in local administrations where you basically learn nothing.

I'm trying to compensate by building my tech skills online, but i'm afraid it wouldn't be enough to build a good cv.

I don't want to waste my remaining years. i'm looking for realistic solutions for my situation.

For those who were in a similar situation, what did you do? what actually helped you build your skills and cv? Anything you regret wasting time on?

Any advice is welcome.

Would you date someone who shares the same insecurities with you?

As the title says,

Insecurities goes for both physical and mental ones.

Do you think it would build resentment towards your partner?

Boyfriend's bday suggestions

My boyfriend's birthday is approaching, we're currently in a long distance relationship and meeting in person isnt an option for the time being (just living in different cities)

I'd like some suggestions for ways to make his day special even if it's online

He's mainly into gaming, and also hes passionate about music

He's not really into receiving gifts, but he does have a soft spot for cute and sweet gestures

Any suggestion or advice is appreciated :)
