Found in my son’s play mat in his room. Checked the corners of the crib and the recliner and there is nothing there at all

I need some help because I’m freaking out. Found this in my son’s play mat in his room. It was completely flat so maybe it’s like a shed skin? I’ve literally never seen a bed bug in real life so I don’t know if this is one (praying it’s not but can’t think of how it could have come here) I looked at the corners of his crib and there’s nothing there. He had a bite near his eye yesterday, and today he has a new one by his ear. Can someone please help?
