Specialties to Shadow?
Pre-med student interested in peds. I’ve shadowed in pediatric clinic and PM&R so far. What else should I add? Want to make sure I’m not only covering my bases but making good experiences.

Hi does anyone have bonnie Dixon old homeworks and exams for Orgo 2? I’m looking to prepare for the semester as much as I can. Thanks
How long is fall break? I see 2 different calendars with different days.
Is the Wednesday class recitation AKA optional? I’m talking a class with UMD in the fall while working so trying to see if I have to go or not
Guys please help should I get a Musthavejoy bag or Telfar for work?
-I have a pretty large dell laptop
-I take lunch with me almost everyday
-Some days I go to the gym right after work
-Is the musthavejoy bag durable? I don’t want the straps to break or anything
Insight would be so appreciated thank you💕
One point I’ll add:
I’ll be working 30-40 hours a week. Which professor is better?
Does anyone have Bonnie Dixon old Orgo Chem exams/final? I’m starting to study in preparation for taking it in the fall and want to get a sense of how she writes her questions. Thanks
Just finished my orgo chem 1 summer class at a 4 year university. Can I take the lab at a Community College? I’ve seen some posts saying that med schools look down on science prereqs taken out of a 4year college. Thanks in advance for your advice
Hello all, I’m a postbac at NIH (about 40 hrs/week) also taking Orgo Chem 1 over the summer. The course is about one month. Chemistry is not my favorite subject, took Gen Chem 1 and 2 3 years ago and “passed” with Cs. What are you guys tips for this? I talked to my professor to gage feasibility and she said it’s possible that I should brush up on Gen Chem 2 and dedicate about 10-15 hrs per week outside of class.
Please drop actual tips , taking it in a semester long course isn’t really an option for me. :(
Study tips? How long should I spend studying per day? Best resources for studying? Thanks in advance
I’m a current NIH postbac working full time already (I have a Bachelors degree in science) and taking night classes from now until next years application cycle basically. During that time I will be taking Orgo Chem 1&2 lab/lecture and Biochemistry (I took Bio, Physics, Chem, and Anatomy during undergrad). I was admitted into the UMD SIE program and the advisor was saying to take Genetics and Microbiology for MCAT as well?? Not sure if they wanted me to pay more for classes but what is you alls opinion? I’ve kind of planned everything out perfectly to finish my orgo and biochem to prepare for MCAT and then go straight into applying next cycle. So not sure where genetics and microbiology would even fit in. All advice is appreciated
