Specifically a group of friends that regularly appear but who aren’t friends in real life.

My sister and I have POA for my mum for health and finance, we are the beneficiaries of her will which includes a modest house.
We lost our dad 2 years ago and now mum has met a new man who is the same age (82).
This man had been previously accused of bullying by his family and is estranged from them, he is showing signs of coercive control and pushing her away from family and friends, my sister and I are already being pushed away because we have voiced concerns over him.
We know we could go to the police but other than locking her indoors we wouldn’t be able to stop her going to see him.

My question is, what would happen if he decided they should get married, does being her husband override the will?

My incoming mains water pipe is some sort of black metal and had a very old stopcock.
I’ve had to replace the stopcock but the pipe is just a little too big to fit a 15mm olive.
As a temporary fix I’ve put on an imperial compression fitting (which was way too big) with loads of ptfe and it’s holding. Does anybody know what sort of fitting I might need, what metal it might be? should I try and stretch the olive? (I have a ring stretcher) maybe use a suage tool and try and solder a coupler on?

House was built in the 60s, I don’t think it’s steel because i saw slight bends in it when the outside part was dug around a while back and it’s much too tough to be lead.
