The swelling is next level!

I'm 12 days post op and my goodness!!! I was prepared for swelling from doing my research before the surgery, but not like this! I have saddle bags that I've never had before ever. One of my greatest assets has always been my legs, but right now I don't recognize them at all. I have an appointment this morning and none of my pants will go over these thighs.

Day 4 post op

Hey guys, just wondering if it's normal to feel a little sick? I don't have a fever and my drains are draining pretty good. I just feel kind of weak and a little dizzy and warm. I keep checking my temp, but it's fine. I'm going to contact my surgeon just to be safe. Just wondering if anyone here had some of the same feelings I'm having. Thanks

Unsupportive partner

My significant other isn't supportive of my surgery. I'm having a panniculectomy, umbilical repositioning with tightening of the upper abdominal skin. He's a physical therapist and an athletic trainer and he doesn't believe in cosmetic surgery even though technically my surgery isn't considered cosmetic. He's watched me struggle with my body image for 22 yrs and he's still giving me a hard time about the surgery. In his mind he thinks I'm taking the easy way out. I told him, you walk around with a spare tire and I bet you'd feel completely different. Anyways, have any of you had an unsupportive partner and how did you deal with it?
