How to Avoid Dryer Setting Sebum and Skin Oils into Clothes

How to avoid the dryer setting sebum into clothes? After drying, clothes have a uniformly yellow film that rubs off to the touch.

I have to use heat in the dryer because I have a bacterial infection which gets in my clothes.

And are these clothes toast since the oils are baked in or can they be salvaged?

Staph getting stuck in washer / dryer. Success stories needed.

Please share success stories about how you successfully eradicated staph from your textiles / environment.

Hello. Had a staph outbreak which was successfully treated by antibiotics and cream. Had red streaks that formed weeping boils on my wrists. Had to buy all new clothes.

Had success for a few months wearing new clothes and donated clothes from friends.

Now I'm finding when I wash my clothes, and wear the washed clothes, I'm forming new staph boils and rashes as the former red streaks are coming back. And this will happen within hours of exposure to the clothing.

When I take the washed clothing off, the symptoms go away.

Staph on Wrists

This has been healing. Went to the doctor 5 days ago and just got a text today confirming it's staph.

History: went to a rehab with shared showers. Got back 10 days ago. Slept of my friends antique couch for 5 days after leaving rehab. Moved off the antique couch onto a futon next time the couch. That's when the rash started flaring on my right hand. Got sunburned and it turned into boils. The boils never healed. The rash on my left hand is what the one on the rigjt looked like before the boils. Sores around my mouth which have resolved with blistex.

Have been dealing with severe mold contamination as well as concurrent alcoholism for years. I often contaminate beds due my detoxing mold and hygiene has been an issue even though I shower and buy new clothes regularly.

My mouth now burns and I don't want this to spread to my lungs.

Doctor wants to put me on a antibiotics. Last time I took antibiotics I got really sick so I'm hesitant.

Seeking any advice or lifestyle changes.
