i calculated my epf projection for retirement

it's not looking good. despite being high earner i have to settle for a lousy retirement. because epf barely beat inflation. if you have 10k 20-30 years later your purchasing power is actually 10k. What?! so i have will 1.5mil ringgit max at old age. I have to stay employed for the next 30 yrs, and can't take any career break. This is just crazy! 1.5mil will give rougly 6k a month. Just what's the purchasing power of 6k in the future worth? 2.5k HAHAHAHA!!

holy shit i work for 3 decades i can retire taking a fresh grad salary?! then you tell i should have save money. my answer is I already got deducted a lot from tax and epf!

your retirement on track mine is not

so epf data officially stated only 10% is on track to 1mil. and we all know it's quite impossible to retire with that amount in kl. so what are we gonna do about it? must have saving also? or plan go back to our kampung? or do odd job later? wei if you guys not thinking about it and act on it, especially when you're not even on track, later sure got issue!

no sign of marriage

me and my gf decided to break up. but i'm not sad, i just accept the valid reasons. it's abit funny because we both wanted it that way. the reason is simple, we both don't want to get married. If don't see that future why bother being a couple at all right? we both love our work and freedom.

as a gen z, i want to ask the older gen. if today you're young and you have many options to live for single life would you have a family? many people get married because can survive better but it's not the case today anymore. raising a kids is so burdensome, not going to feel poor going into starbucks and hotel grade when i travel. of course if i'm super rich i can have kids.

life is hard but please be kind

i don't expect everyone to be generous but be kind is the basic. Some of you are young didn't face any hardship or have seen enough people's problem, don't ever judge too quick. yes, compared to many people in their 30s, i have nothing. I have a basic apartment, a moto, my rain coat also cheapest from shopee. But i fund my siblings for uni, my parent medical expenses. Let other people laugh at me i don't care, they're just born with privilege. I even asked around to see if my colleague aren't using their budi points. I don't even have choice to be tick skins, i just want to be alive and make sure the people i care about survive.

i'm stuck in a recruitment job

i sell company needs and get human to buy it, then i get commission. Not much different from selling coway. I don't know what those keywords means but basically just do matching. What's the future of this job?

from my exp I judge from these points:

  1. teach the things from the bible, not from the crowd
  2. admit church history is messy ,no whitewashing facts
  3. admit mistake and practice transparency especially in financial matter
  4. never manipulate church member, for example if someone want to join another church
  5. reputation among other leaders from other churches is also important. No one should be running a church as a business, all sheep belongs to Jesus alone.

what else?
