One of my friends is pursuing engineering ( 2nd year). He genuinely wanted to pursue bsc but was forced by parents to take up engineering. Today, after so many days, we talked to each other.He asked if I could help in finding an exchange program for IISERs. He got suggested by ex-Prof HC VERMA to mail professors from IISERs and find an internship in IISERs.He is about to publish a paper on physics.If anyone knows about any student exchange program, please help. (He genuinely wants to leave engineering and join iisers like institute)

I am moving to the 2nd year of IISER.A few months ago, one of my friend (junior) asked me about IISERs. He visited IISc for some summer school during his school days(So I expected that he might have some idea about research institutes).He cleared JEE Advanced and was deciding to prepare for the IAT. He asked me what the difficulty of courses in IISERs is as compared to science courses(BS) in IITs . So I said that it is tougher academically. Before even he asked why and details of coursework, he perceived me as someone who just promotes IISERs. He later indirectly told me if IIT BS courses(offline) are that chiller, then why are IISER placements less compared to IITs. I just gave up and stopped talking after that. Even his father sees me through that lens. I eventually stopped talking to them.
