Congenital hypoalgesia on rex

Im not sure that it works but prime trike and prime deino are bigger than rex mass wise(same for adult trike and frail elder deino), same will be true for spinosaurus(plus camarasaurus and shantungosaurus, if well live to see its release). So basically bleed resist + fracture resist + congenital and the only 3 dinos that can kill rex rn (stego, trike, other rex) will have a harder time in doing that. What do you think?

Water in the pit

Almost all the time when I was passing by it showed on my q that it is drinkable water, but when I decided to drink it on pt it turned out to be a salt water, is it drinkable or what?

River delta turned into delta river?

Was it named delta from the beginning or is it because people didn't understand what exactly is delta?

How essential is pvp for you?

For me its as essential as anything else, you dont need to be best, just be better than your opponent and dont panic(easy way to do something stupid) though I'm constantly failing

Ideas for antipack mutations

The other day I saw complaints about packs and mix packs and that its hard to deal with as a solo player and that there should be a mechanic that should help against said packs.

My idea is a mutation that lowers damage of the pack, it works like that:

First one who landed a bite on you gets status of a "prime target" which does full damage on you and everyone else is doing less damage while prime target is alive or in certain range, if prime target dies or runs away far enough then new prime target is selected(again first one who lands a bite on you) the value would be 5-10-15% or 10-15-20%

P.s. Your group mates cant get prime target status and will be able to get it only if they weren't in one group with you for last 20 minutes (so people couldn't abuse it via hitting eachother in the tail and getting free dmg reduction)

What do you think and what would you suggest?

SOUTH PLAINS IS A FREE PRIME FOR SMALL DINOS

Now that I see that, strange that the area isn't as popular as delta or west rail...

  1. 3 migration zones

  2. ≈10 patrol zones

  3. really safe sanctuary that has multiple protected entrences

  4. boar, deer, taco, dryo, crab, chicken, seaturtle, rabbits spawn that gives perfect diet to almost all small and big carnies

  5. bridge safe from crocs and ponds are too shallow for them

Any idea or theories on spino and giga mechanics?

I think spino gets pin(i know its obvious af) high turn rate when standing still but im unsure about damage, attack speed(probably same as allo) and bleed damage, also if spino gets spearfishing mechanic and will be able to sustain itself only through fishing, we might get some strategies like getting saltwater and running to some small island like a hermit and siting there until they'll entomb and do it again, so after a month of that labor we'll get 16 mutation spino monster lol(you can do that with pt and austro but they're not that much of a threat)

Giga is still a mystery, we have only one sentence "running from him will result in dying tired". I understand that giga must be a bit faster than rex, but to a dinosaur of that size to keep up to its prey is kinda messed up imo, I understand that they'll have a lot of stamina or/and stamina regen. Giga also might be good at tracking other dinos, maybe it'll be easier for them to see footprints or drops of blood and etc. Also there is possibility that giga gets really good bleed

What do you think?

Late prime is still in game?

Just had pt hit late prime at 95%, it was entombed and I hit 75% before last update and left it at that without prime, now I hit 95% and suddenly hit prime, I thought that bug was fixed.

Questions about damage and heal modifiers

So, we have like 3 mutations that amplifies damage in different ways,

  1. accelerated pray drive => deals 10% more damage to those whose hp is lower than 35%

  2. hemomania => do extra 5 or 10%(if entombed) damage to bleeding targets

  3. hypermetabolic inanition => the less hunger you have the more damage you deal 15/20/25%(also idk about exact numbers, i took it from the isle guide website, info is probably outdated)

My question is, how it stacks? Do you multiply it or just add the numbers? Like if I am starving and hitting low hp bleeding target do I just (100% + 1st dmg modifier)×(100%+ 2nd dmg modifier)×(100%+ 3rd dmg modifier)= total damage, or is it just 100%+ 1st dmg modifier + 2nd dmg modifier + 3rd dmg modifier?

Same question about healing mutations

  1. cellular regeneration

Recovers health slightly faster 15/20/25%

  1. hydro regenerative

Recovers health faster during rain 25%

  1. nocturnal

Faster health/locked health recovery at night 5% (also what is the difference between health recovery and locked health recovery?)

  1. photosyntetic tissue

Faster health/locked health recovery during day 5%

The apex problem almost solved?

Right now there are 2 apex predators, rex and deinosuchus, and both suffer from that statement. Apex predators => more popular than others => less diversity => most common meat is of your own species => cannibalism and toxicity thrives.

If im not mistaken there were times when carnotaurus was considered an apex predator(cuz there were no other big terrestrial carnies at the moment) and after adding their rivals(allos and ceras) they stopped being so(also they got some major nerfs).

Everybody already knows how this problem is solved, more big carnies that can challenge each other (herbies are cool too but it feels like majority plays mostly carnies). Recently added austroraptor can kill smaller crocs or serve as a food for a bit bigger ones(basically bigger beipi) then comes baryonyx that rivals bigger crocs and then comes spinosaurus that can kill or feed biggest crocs, so if they add couple semi aquatic herbies the problem is solved. Rex problem is not as bad as for crocs(except for couple hundred needed nerfs and fixes) cuz there are dinos that can rival them like trike or stego that can 1v1 them... mostly, and even then spinosaurus and later giga should add their weight to balance things out. Is problem about to be solved or am I missing something?

Trike beginner tips

I got kicked in the teeth by 3 trikes(my rex survived though) and decided to try it, surprisingly I got to 3 tons in 1,5 hours and managed to go get to north plains without any confrontation, what should I know before somebody decides to fight me?

I know that:

Lmb = attack

Rmb = shield (probably blocks damage) also insta defense stance if you weren't in it

Ctrl = defensive stance (i can rotate and shuffle sideways but dont know what else it does)

Also I know that I can win against rex that is same weight as me but I cant really distinguish their weight since rexes usually look bigger even if weight is equal. Also I know that trike is an immovable object with grace of a potato

Strategy against big packs

Once I was in a big cera pack(8 or more) and we were able to kill adult rex, what could rex or any other big dino do in that situation or against other packs like dilo or allos? Is it wise to try to kill them 1 by 1 or try to hurt them evenly, forcing them to retreat?

(Prime is buggy)²

I had carno, met all requirements and didn't receive it at 75%, thought that maybe its bugged and I'll get it at 95% but then again I didn't get it. Logged out and came back couple hours later and boom, im wounded, poisoned with healing bleed and a prime.... im raising new rex right now after last one was eaten by other rex... I hope it won't happen with it...

The timeline

Thats from a song on xydownik YouTube channel. Song "школа говно" (school is bull/shit) where glam and chive break 4th wall.

Chive sings that he'd better play video games and maybe have career in cybersport while glam says they're in 80s and cybersport wasn't invented yet.... if their teens(s1 flashbacks) happened in 80s then their twenties(s2 flashbacks) were from late 80s to early 90s which means that present times in metal family is somewhere between 2004-2013

When is spino coming?

Jokes aside, when you think they'll come? Personally, adding a dino that can and will challenge both rexes on land and deinos in water looks cool, I hope it won't be overtuned

Map infos

I know its outdated, I couldn't find current one.

Do you know which dinos prefer which locations? I need it to know where to go when playing specific dino and what locations I should avoid. I tried to raise rex couple times, thought beach and the whole coastline was good idea cuz I can spot danger from afar plus crabs and turtles dont fight back, turns out its a double edged sword cuz your hunters also see you from afar and you cant really outrun them

Auto prime dino

I had dilophosaurus that became prime at 95% then same thing happened with my cera. I also sow post here about same thing on different dilophosaurus, is that supposed to be like that?

P.s. for those who doesn't know, being a hatching is like almost a free prime(just dont mess up and ur ok) and by itself is pretty OP cuz u can have up to 8 mutations
