So I got a 96 c1500 and im doing some work on it and I need to back off the brakes. As far as I knew drum brake only had a star wheel to do that but found out some are eccentric cams or something like that. I can't seem to figure out how to back them off the take the drum off. There's no star wheel and I can't figure out any other way to back them off. Any ideas?
Do I need to get a C-notch on my 96 chevy if I do a 2/4 drop on it? Also do I need shock extensions or whatever they are called for the rear shocks so they stay at the right angle?
I need a new stereo in my 96 chevy and I can only find one bracket that fits the truck for an aftermarket stereo and its like $300. Does anyone know where i can get something thats not to expensive?
So I have 1996 obs chevy with 5.0L in it and I want to swap in an LS. Which should I go for, the 5.3 or 6.0? Its gonna be just a cruiser, not for racing or anything like that
