AITB for completely going off on this classmate for taking out my earbud?

I am 25F and in grad school. Roughly a month-ish back, I got paired with this other woman, Angela, in my class for an assignment where we basically have to interview one another, and each interview has to be an hour long; we were graded on our interviewing ability. Angela comes to my apartment at night (only available time) and we do the assignment

Almost a week later on class day, the professor introduced another partner assignment. Most classmates already had a partner. I eventually asked Angela but she COMPLETELY bit my head off. She immediately started yelling at me, getting right in my face, repeatedly yelling to go away. She yelled that she hated the way I answered her questions when she was interviewing me. She said I answered the questions in a too-confusing way and made the assignment more difficult for her than necessary. I had no idea cuz she didn't say anything at the time.

Anyways she said I "royally pissed her the hell off" that night. Ofc other classmates are staring in shock cuz this right after class ended and much of my classmates/cohort were still there. I apologized and backed off like she wanted, obviously humiliated

So fast forward like a few days later. I was outside on campus, sitting at a table by the campus lake, listening to some music, watching the ducks. There are people around. Angela walks up to me and taps me on the shoulder. I look at her. She then makes a motion for me to take out one of my earbuds but I honestly don't want to talk to her because of the previous incident, so I just shake my head "no" at her. Then I look away from her and back at the lake. She taps me a few more times, but I don't respond. She then reaches in my ear and takes my earbud out for me. She says in an annoyed voice that she's trying to talk to me. She then tries to ask me about another class we were both in

After realizing that she took my earbud out, she gave it back after I told her to. I then snap at her to never EVER stick her fingers in my ear like that. I then say, "that is rude and gross. I don't know where you've been. What the fuck is wrong with you?". I then tell her to never ever touch my property without my permission again. I didn't scream at her, but I wasn't quiet either, so students around us can hear me, some staring. She gets angry and defensive back and says that she was trying to talk to me, but I had my earbuds in. I said something like "I'll talk to you when I feel like it. Now get lost." She was stunned, and I had to repeat myself until she finally walked away. I then rub a little hand sanitizer on my earbud and a bit on my ear too

Some strangers nearby said that I was so rude and harsh and to chill out.

Did I overreact to this and completely make an ass out of myself, even after what she did in the classroom? I pretty much never lash out like this. I keep thinking about both and am still mortified. Should I apologize to her?

What is the most ridiculous “if the genders were reversed” argument that you’ve heard?

In real life and online. And that was said to you or someone else.

What common sapphic experience do you not have?

Aside from the extremely obvious, like kissing/sex with another woman lol.

I’m gonna go first. I’ve never experienced a man trying to convince me to try men after I told them I don’t swing that way. All the dudes that have hit on me taken the rejection pretty well. Hopefully it stays that way.

Also, I’ve never been downright in love with a straight female friend before. I’ve been attracted to one of them before, but never in love. I never got upset or heartbroken when they got boyfriends and such. Maybe a little envy for their boyfriends but not hatred or depression or anything like that.
