I caved in and finally decided to get a ps5 pro. I was initially playing on ps4 and PC until I got a PS5 a few years ago. Since then I’ve been really only played on PS5, and also heard about price hike and pros selling out and gta6 so I upgraded for the superior experience. I didn’t notice too much difference after setting it up then realized my monitor and TV are from like 6 years ago and doesn’t even have hdmi 2.1 compatibility. I have LG 32” QHD 165 Hz. 1ms. Which I thought was good enough at the time of PC gaming.

Anyone have any good recommendations for cheap right now? I’m trying to hold out on major new TV and monitor upgrade until Black Friday sale. Or should I just not get anything until then anyways? I feel like my ps5 pro is bored out of its mind for underperformance.

I just found out my monitor does not support VRR. I thought it was hdmi 2.1 cable issue given it supports freesync/g-sunc but apparently my monitor only supports up to 2.0. Is it really worth upgrading monitor for VRR? Does it change gameplay by a lot? Is it not worth upgrade if I have base PS5 and not pro?

Just started playing on PS5. Never really played bdo before or mmorpg on ps5 and just got to lvl 16 beating Giath. It’s fun but the graphic looks awful and laggy all around. It seems like an addictive mmorpg I’ve been looking for w combos instead of spamming two buttons but is it worth pursuing on ps5 or just go back to playing other ps 5 games.
