Has anyone been to the pro shop at Oakland Ice Center?

I’m thinking about getting my first pair of ice skates there (beginner level) and was wondering if you can just walk in and try stuff on, or if you need an appointment for fitting.

Also curious what the experience was like in general — did they help with sizing, and can they sharpen skates right away after purchase?
