Faz praticamente um mês que estou com o meu servidor, obviamente no início tudo é alegria e o cara fica maravilhado com todas as possibilidades, mas depois de um tempo realmente a gente separa aquilo que é útil daquilo que foi feito só pela emoção.

Os que uso diariamente são: AdGuard Home, ConvertX, Immich, Karakeep, Fast Note Sync (Obsidian) e Radicale, e os serviços que instalei e nunca usei: Paperless e Forgejo.

E vocês? Quais são realmente úteis no seu dia a dia e quais se provaram descartáveis depois da euforia?

I moved browsing to a Camofox container on my home server. Camofox uses Camoufox, a Firefox fork that spoofs the browser fingerprint at the C++ level. Hermes connects to it directly, traffic goes through my home IP, and sessions persist. The best part is authentication: Hermes opens the login page, I connect through noVNC, enter my password + 2FA myself, then hand control back. The agent never sees or stores my credentials. Human authenticates, agent acts. Getting it stable took some Docker/home-server debugging: silent browser crashes, misleading health checks, VNC zombies, idle timeouts, build issues. A real page-load watchdog and a 24h browser timeout solved most of it.
Now I can log into a site once and let the agent use that authenticated session for weeks. No API required, no per-action browser cost, access to internal services, and my credentials stay with me.
Basically: if it has a website but no API, my agent can treat the browser as the API.

And it was an excellent change. The improvement in response quality was noticeable almost immediately.
None of the cron jobs had ever worked 100% correctly with DeepSeek, mainly because of timezone issues. I asked it to fix the timezone 55 times, and on 32 occasions it confirmed that the issue had been resolved. However, DeepSeek would fix one thing and break another. GPT fixed everything with the very first prompt. It even created scripts to reduce token usage, which I honestly thought was a great solution.
But after a few days, everything started to fall apart. GPT-5.6 began overthinking absolutely everything. Responses were taking five or six minutes to arrive, and they were often absurdly long for no reason.
I spent about two days trying to fix it, and today I finally switched to GPT-5.5. Everything is working well again, and I hope it stays that way.
And for you guys, how has your experience with GPT-5.6 been?

Confesso que sou fã demais do Load, Until Sleeps, Hero of the Day, Bleeding Me e a incrível The Outlaw Torn são composições bem feitas e carregadas de emoção. Quando adolescente eu preferia muito mais o ReLoad, mas com o passar dos anos sempre me via voltando cada vez mais ao Load e hoje o coloco como um dos melhores álbuns da banda. Enfim, também escuto bastante Cody Jink, e essa interpretação acústica de Bleeding Me ficou absurda de boa. Espero que gostem.
