Looking for feedback on Counseling Works (Chicago area therapy clinic)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been struggling a bit with finding a good therapist in Chicago. I’ve tried a couple so far, but the fit just hasn’t been right and I’m starting to feel a bit stuck in the process.

I came across a group practice called Counseling Works and I’m considering reaching out to them, mainly because they seem to have a larger team and the matching process looks more structured than what I’ve tried so far.

Has anyone here had any experience with them or worked with a therapist from that practice? Would really appreciate any honest feedback before I make the move.

Drowning in admin after going from 3 to 12 staff

We’ve had some decent growth over the last 6 months, expanding from just 3 of us to a team of 12 now. The problem is that my Fridays have completely devolved into chasing people down for timesheets, manually checking holiday requests, and trying to make sure I don't mess up the HMRC submissions.

We are currently doing everything through a mix of generic spreadsheets and basic tracking apps, but it’s becoming a massive bottleneck. One wrong tax code or missed overtime calculation throws off the whole week, and honestly, I don't have the time to become an expert on payroll compliance while trying to run the actual business.

I’m looking for a proper UK-based setup that integrates both the time tracking and the actual payroll processing in one place so I can stop copying data back and forth. Ideally something flexible that doesn't force a small company into a rigid annual contract right away. How are you guys automating this transition once you scale past a handful of employees?

Edit: Thanks for the suggestions in the replies and messages. I’m going to check out PayEscape since their rolling setup fits what we need, and I'll update here asap on how it goes.

How many floor plans did you go through before finding the right one?

We're trying to build our first house and I've probably opened 40 or 50 different floor plans over the last month. Started wanting around 2,200 sq ft, then changed to 2,600, then started caring more about storage than total size. It's getting annoying.

One of the builders I found was Foxlane Homes and a few of their layouts caught my attention, especially the ones with a first floor office. My problem is I can't tell what's actually practical versus what just looks good on a screen. Did anyone build recently and find out a certain room size or layout decision was a mistake after moving in?
