what is everyone’s ALL TIME fav stevebucky fic?

i want to know what is everyone’s favourite stevebucky fic of all time, like the fic you could never move on from, the one you keep returning to year after year, the one that completely changed your view of their relationship or of the characters themselves.

i’ll go first, mine is The Constant by TheConstant1944
(if you’d like to check it out, PLEASE heed the warnings)

new addition to my collection (help!)

hiya, i hope this is the right place for this post. recently i got my hands on this early 2000s (?) pair of sergio todzi’s. they are absolutely stunning (!!!) and everything i was looking for my heels collection

except

they feel impossible to walk in. i do not know what the issue is; i don’t know if they are too tall and the arch too high, if perhaps it’s my posture or my gait, but nearly instantly, after putting them on, i start to feel an ache in my ankles and up the outer sides of my lower legs. does anyone have any advice or explanation for why this may be happening?

do i give up?

it’s pretty hard for me to even post this but here goes.

a bit of context, i did my a levels 4 years ago and didn’t do well, i was dealing with some serious mental issues and my situation at home was also terrible.

it was heartbreaking to open my results and know i’d missed my medical school requirements (i had 2 conditional offers at the time). however i still managed to get into university and do a biomed degree.

now years later, i’m being told i’ll likely graduate with a 2:2, i am 1.9% away from a 2:1 but it doesn’t look like the uni will bump my classification up.

my plan had always been to pursue medicine after biomed and now it seems like it will not happen.
i’ve seen some say that if you do a master’s degree, certain GEM programs will overlook a 2:2, although it still doesn’t guarantee acceptance.

i can’t help but think that perhaps i should just stop here. put my head down, and find a steady job that allows me to help people in some other way and forget all about medicine.

to do a master’s, then apply to medicine, will mean a delay in my adult life, i already feel like i’m falling behind as it is. i have to think about how i’ll support myself and my family in the future, sfe (if i do get accepted to a postgrad course) can only go so far, i’ve worked and studied in the past years just so i could make ends meet.

i love medicine, it has always been my passion and it always will remain in my heart, but i feel like i’m at a breaking point.

looking for hyperspecific trope/plot

okay, i’m looking for a hyperspecific trope/plot, i have so much faith in this sub, i hope someone has something similar to recommend

does anyone have a book rec with
faes & arranged marriage/marriage of convenience
BUT
one where the FL either looks forward to married life or dreads it (especially that aspect of married life) only to be rejected by the ML (maybe on the wedding night?), thus she starts to believe that she is simply not the wife that the ML wants/desires, and there’s a fuckton of tension and misunderstandings, and yearning and
and obviously eventually she’s proven wrong ?

reading this back i can see how insane i sound, but this specific trope has been stuck in my head for days and i can’t get it out 😭

Lucien

do we think lucien knows or suspects the truth about his parentage?

when feyre realised that helion was lucien’s father she told rhys that she didn’t believe lucien was aware of his parentage.

however, we know lucien is very intelligent and capable of noticing small details, it’s one of the reasons why he’s known as a ‘fox’ and why he’s such a successful courtier.

it’s been implied that eris never treated him as a threat to his claim as heir of autumn, would lucien have assumed that this is because he’s the 7th and youngest son? or that eris’ treatment was due to him being his favourite brother?

i wonder, is it truly possible that throughout his life, especially following what happened in hybern, that he never realised, or at the very least suspected that the powers he has and their magnitude do not come from beron?

i was not aware that apres recently opened an official amazon store in the uk, and almost paid £70 for just tips and glue on a reselling website! on amazon this came to around £40 and although i was unsure, turns out natural tips are definitely the ones for me!

next on my shopping list is the YN protein bonder. i’ve seen really great reviews from it and seen people say that since it’s non acidic it’s less harsh on your natural nails
