97lb dog ate corn cob

My dog chewed up a corn on a cob in smaller pieces, the vet didn’t sound super concerned and said since hes so big it should be fine but I’m kicking myself for not going in to make him throw up when i had the chance. Im likely going to go get an xray for him on monday but my question is for bigger dog owners who have had a dog who chewed a corn a cob into smaller pieces, anything happen? What steps did you take? I am a first time dog owner so plz refrain from judgement he is very loved, thank u!

Dog spit up? Poop?

How do I attach a picture? I don’t really post on here.

This morning, I woke up to this in my bed from my dog. He also left one yesterday, that was dime sized. I would say this morning is nickel sized. Yesterday it smelled like throw up to me but this morning I’m not quite sure if it smells like poop or throw up. He is a three-year-old Rottweiler pitbull mix who is 97 lbs and he is in good spirits and taking treats and playing. When he does throw up in the middle of the night, I normally hear him retching, but I have not heard of anything the last two nights so that’s why I’m confused. I don’t think this is a poop crumb that was left on his butt because I normally help him into bed and would have noticed. Has anyone ever experienced this before? It looks like kibble, but I’m genuinely not sure if I should be concerned. This is prescription weight loss kibble that he has been on for the last month.
