Suggestions about colour schemes

I’ve decided to get into Warhammer with Black templars and to create unique colour scheme. Do you have any ideas how to improve it? Wouldn’t it be better to repaint silver crosses white?
The models are a sword brother and a kitbashed crusade ancient (both WIP).
