Little mesh baskets

Constantly fumbling around with these baskets, they usually get stuck in the tinymight 2 and because of that I haven’t touched mine in months.. :(

I haven’t been able to find the OEM spec baskets. Can someone deploy me in the right direction so I can start using this thing again?

Thank you 🙏

I can't get MD out of my head!

TLDR/BLUF: 30M, spent a decade talking myself out of medicine. What finally made you commit?

30M veteran here. I’ve been all over the place in life. I joined the military at 18 because that’s what my brother did, my uncles did, my cousins did, my best friend did, etc. I’ve pretty much always followed the path that was put in front of me.

My father was self-destructive and died young after a lifetime of gambling. My mother is a damn saint, but she’s afraid of her own shadow. The only real mentors I had growing up were my stepdad, an immigrant who has done exceptionally well for himself, and the people around me who joined the military. Nobody in my family has a degree; most either work in government or are disabled.

So, getting my Criminal Justice degree, I thought, "I'll become a cop like everyone else". But I'm no cop; I smoke weed and listen to stuff like Dungeon Crawler Carl. I like to hike in the mountains, eat “redacted” , and talk to random people for hours. I left all the fake tough-guy shit behind-I can't do it anymore.

After getting my bachelor's, I decided I can’t be a cop; maybe I can become a lawyer. Surely that will be intellectually stimulating. Turns out, while I am decent at arguing and the like-I just don’t think I can walk away from the idea of becoming a doctor in medicine.

So now I feel stuck between the path I was on and the path I’ve always said is too long/expensive/difficult/they only do insurance paperwork/doctors have mid-level creep/the MCAT and Post Bacc will make me 33 before I even attend/AI will replace MDs/Most MDs say not to do it/Blood makes you faint/Are you just doing it for the money?/You hate hospitals/etc.

It's a storm of self-doubt that feels very real, and also very fake. I want to be a doctor for a few reasons:

  1. The human anatomy is unbelievable, and learning the discoveries others have made consistently blows my mind.
  2. I want children like yesterday and to show my future children that even if something is hard- if it's what they think they need to do, they NEED to do it. Prevent regret and remove self-limiting thoughts.
  3. Not to trauma-dump, so I won't. But I have had doctors directly impact my life. They are a part of my story.
  4. My entire algorithm is cutting-edge science or hobbies. Being a part of medicine, you have the option and ability to be one of the “We did it” workers. You know how everyone says “We went to the moon” or “We discovered a cure for X”. I can’t get that in contract work or legal settings.

I'll stop here. But if I'm being introspective, I think part of this is that I need something difficult and meaningful to work toward. My life feels incredibly boring when I don't have something to learn, build, fix, or chase.

So for the nontraditional students who spent years talking themselves out of becoming a doctor: what finally made you stop debating it and commit? And looking back, how did you distinguish genuine reasons not to pursue medicine from fear dressed up as rationality?

Thoughts on if this is okay to wear to Disneyland in California? Would be with a backpack and ears 🤔

Credit to costumesbystormy for the inspiration. My wife wants to make a dress similar to this one-basically the same, asked me to see if it’s okay. I feel like with mouse ears, and a small backpack there wouldn’t be an issue. Thanks! 🙏

3/8 installation drill driver sounds like sand is inside.

Seems to work fine, but it’s making this weird sound. It does it on every gear so I don’t know if it’s normal or not. It’s brand new. I’ve only used it once. Got it about a week ago. So I’m still within the 90 day HD. Just wanted to see if anybody else had this issue or if it even is an issue?

Outside of the sound, it’s a great tool. 🤔
