I dont know what's under the hood of either app, I'm no coder. Just wondered if it was theoretically possible to have a feature which allows for importing third party app chats, into Signal, purely for viewing.

Perhaps visually it would be in the drop down menu > archived chats > WhatsApp.

Some people keep WhatsApp not only for the people who refuse to migrate, but also for the chat histories they've amassed over the years.

If there was a way to view those chats, it might be another carrot to entice people. Though if Meta paying Nazis isn't doing it... What will?

I was thinking about the bullshit in the west over wearing a mask during covid, or even now, how hard it is to wear a mask without someone asking if you're scared of covid.

And wondered if flat Earth has any believers in China.

I'm in the west, so I'm not sure if it doesn't really have a following or that it does, but I'm not seeing it because of my location.

With more than a Billion people and double that with India not far away, plus Asia in general being way larger than the US, I thought maybe it's just the usual thing of a minority being extremely loud.
